Yeah true, and I think he can do it in the pros..  but our "big" WRs are Burks, Dowell, and Tre Martin. There's a need for going after the typical X prototype IMO. Our Tee Higgins.

I don’t know why more people who want Tee Higgins don’t want Jayden Higgins. I always thought Jayden Higgins makes sense if they’re trying to duplicate elements of the Bengals corps, and that’s easier to get than Ja’marr Chase. And cheaper, healthier, and you don’t have to trade for him. Just sayin’.

I dont know. I dont mind Jayden but I thought I saw his contested catch rate was obscenely high because he couldnt separate.

Could be that this team has lacked speed for so long that they just dont want a big dude that cant get open as easily.

I think a big catch radius helps to get open above the defender. But I also put stock in his catch reliability. It’s in the 99th percentile of this class. I put stock in reliability over flashy. Build a trustworthy foundation first. Who cares if it’s boring? I want the chains to move consistently. Higgins was 50% more productive than Burden, for example. There’s several high risk/reward players later.

There’s buzz that Higgins goes late first.

I could see 2 WR's possible.  Williams did play X in college FWIW.

I like the freedom Kyle williams gives them in the 2nd wr we likely draft. If you go with burden or egbuka you are piegon holed into a developmental x. If you take higgens or harris you gota take a slot. With williams you can take whichever one you like more on day 2 or 3.

Its partially that, also on the qb. Williams os the same way,he had a good number of contested catches not because he is particularly great at it, but because he was wide open and the qb under threw it making him slowdown and make the play.

Oilerman disagrees and thinks we'll draft only 1 WR.  He also thinks that Callahan may be kept around for years for the benefit of Ward.  I will be pissed if he's right about both.

I said they wouldn't draft 3, 2 is possible.

And yes, I believe Callahan will be here 3 more years at least

I bet they draft a WR and a TE before they draft 2 WRs

This makes way too much sense for a bunch of reasons .  A young qbs best friend (or one of them ) is a dual threat TE who can operate in the middle and down the seams.

Also, TE , EDGE and IDL are amongst the three strongest positions groups this year .  I believe it’s smarter to draft from the strong points of a particular and the Titans need pretty much everything at this point.  I wouldn’t be surprised with a RB either.

How early is Fidone expected to go? He was one of them they looked at. In the sim I use it's been having him going in the 7th round at the earliest, but in reality how scared off would teams be by the 2 ACLs?
