Still one of the dumbest fucking decisions I've ever seen. People love to shit on fans who "think they know more than the paid professionals" but honestly sometimes these decisions are so retarded that yeah, we do know better. A fucking guard with historically short arms even for a guard, with 0 experience ever playing guard and you take him just outside of the top 10? Gee, what ever could go wrong? Imbeciles. Nihill was super high as well. “Nihill said Callahan's ability to articulate who he wants on his staff and how likely he'll be able to bring them to Nashville was a major differentiator in the interview process.” Im glad he articulated to such a degree to convince anybody that Holz and Anderson were the major differentiators. Im going to be salty forever over Adam Peters. IsntLifeFunny, and Mythos27 1

Watching the Giants GM on hard knocks it was obvious the guy was making stupid decisions, anyone with a pulse could have predicted how this season would go with Daniel Jones as the QB - his own son told him to draft Jayden Daniels! Peters turned down the interview to only accept the Commanders the following year when their new ownership was in place. I just think he’s a really good exec. who could have done well for the Titans. BudsOilers
My guess is that Vrabel, with his personality/rep and NE roots, may have not been appealing to a prospective GM in a collaborative setup where the GM and HC both report to the owner. Vrabel was 100% right that the setup needed a President of Football Operations type ala the Diamond/Reese/Fisher setup. Maybe AAS plan is to do that with Brinker....
