I heard her food tasted bad. Kids want their rectangular grease pizza. I kind of miss the unhealthy school food. Did some schools actually permanently adopt that? Starkiller
https://www.nytimes.com/2025/03/27/us/politics/stefanik-trump-cabinet.html President Trump on Thursday said he had asked Representative Elise Stefanik, Republican of New York, to stay in Congress rather than serve as ambassador to the United Nations, amid concern about the minuscule voting margin that Republicans hold in the House. Mr. Trump hinted that he might make it up to Ms. Stefanik in the future with another position in his administration. But for now, he said, Speaker Mike Johnson was “thrilled” with the development. It was a stunning turnaround for Ms. Stefanik, who was Mr. Trump’s first cabinet nominee and who had been expecting to be confirmed by the Senate in the coming days. And it underscored the precarious position that House Republicans are in with such a narrow majority that they can afford few defections. Mr. Johnson had previously said he could not afford to lose Ms. Stefanik while he was maneuvering critical measures, including his party’s budget plan, through the House. It also highlighted concerns among Mr. Trump and leading members of his party about their ability to win what should be safe Republican seats in districts like Ms. Stefanik’s solidly red region of upstate New York. OILERMAN
The Trump cabinet will go down in history as the most unqualified/stupidest group ever assembled. How does the Secretary of Education not know this?
nine
The country is led by raging narcissist of very limited intelligence, but whose ego and insecurity is such that he has to always be the smartest guy in the room. In the past, Presidents always tried to surround themselves with the sharpest, most experienced people to keep them informed and updated. Trump has done the exact opposite: he removed and fired anyone who had more knowledge or experience than him and replaced them with lackeys and ass-kissers who gleefully support his political agenda but have little or no knowledge or experience in their designated fields....thus ensuring POTUS won't have to listen to someone who knows more than he does. When you vote for the president you are voting for the entire administration, Everyone knew Trump would surround himself with a bunch of unqualified, criminal buffoons. Whether you liked Biden/Harris or not they would surround themselves with competent people who were qualified. MadMax
