I have no idea why they’ve basically penciled Radunz in as a guard when he actually played a solid RT last year & now he’s a full year recovered from the ACL. It blows my mind that it looks like NPF is starting there. Latham will most likely struggle early & if NPF plays like last year the OL could be a disaster again. I still can’t believe his line against Pitt last year……10 snaps,7 hurries, 2 sacks, injured. Has to be the worst game ever played. He’s suspended for gambling,, he’s not practicing,, I don’t get it. Radunz should be the unchallenged starter. Rad got a ton of penalties and most of them were when he was at RT and a lot of them were false starts. He obviously had a lot of trouble when facing faster guys on the outside as opposed to when he's working on the inside.

In fact Next Gen Stats graded it the most accurate since they started. Another thing about RT, one of his big issues in Miami was he threw a bad deep ball. He threw some incredible long balls here. Way down the field. The one to Burks week 2 last year was just uncorked. Tannehill’s problem was he could never seemingly put together a complete game. It’s why I’m having trouble coming up with his best game and maybe agreeing that it might be the GB game, when he threw a horrible pick at a bad time. If you take the 2021 season, for example, there were three games that highlight this exact problem. Seattle, Buffalo and San Francisco. He was just not good in the first half of any of those games, some worse than others. He was terrific in the second halves of all those games. But it seemed to be good half, bad half with him too many times. In 2022 he’d come out on fire and then struggle in the second half. It happened too many times. He just wasn’t consistent enough, which is why you could never call the guy, even on his best day, a top level quarterback. IowaOiler

You not being able to call him a top level QB just makes me feel more confident that he was. OILERMAN, FireInTheHole, and Callidus

For some reason Titans wouldn't keep passing and instead relied on a run game and defense which would only occasionally close out games. titanruss
Tannehill was absolutely a fringe top QB for about 20 games. But most of the rest of his career he was a bridge-level replaceable starter. The last two years he was mostly complete dog shit with bridge-leve starter peaks. That's a pretty fair and succinct break down. titanruss

He has near-prototypical size 6'5"/317, good length 34" arms, tested great with a 9.3 RAS including a 5.11 40 and elite 3-cone. His knock has been play strength but one would think this is an even bigger issue on the inside. He's looked at least capable the few times he's been out there too. I'd love to understand their rationale because I might learn something. This is the second staff that sees him this way so I'm interested to know why. NFL.com scouting report says he lacks athleticism.. so maybe measurements aren't translating. Practice habits were questioned. Listed as better run blocker than pass blocker. Didn't the nfl report for Latham say may be better off at guard as well? And no, I'm not anywhere near the pot or spoon.
