tgo Posted February 3, 2024 Report Share Posted February 3, 2024 I'd like to see them pair a cornerbacks guy with Steve Jackson - Deshea Townsend is now available and they worked together in tandem under LeBeau so that could be a good pairing. Townsend and Jackson both have functioned as "defensive pass game coordinators" as well. Holz also knows Townsend from Jacksonville. With Giff Smith off the board, strong DL options with connections would include: Tracy Rocker Nick Eason Brenston Buckner Still hoping for Lupoi as OLB Coach/Run Game Coordinator or some such! - He may not want to give up defensive play calling at Oregon though, although he just recently came under NCAA investigation for recruiting violations. I know he has young kids in school in Nashville, may not be the worst option for him if he retains the same pay grade.
