I’m really starting to lean to Latham going at 5 like the recent reports. It just makes too much sense. He does remind me of Anthony Davis who Harbaugh had with the 49ers.

I'm claiming credit if this happens tomorrow. Latham makes way more sense if they truly want to go RT at 5. Of course they could easily trade out for whoever wants McCarthy and likely still get him.

AJ Brown and Davis Long were hurt all the time with the Titans.   With their new teams they haven't missed any time. Coincidence or Titan related? Either way I'm tired of it

It's a big one. All offense:   By Bob McGinn     Our draft coverage at Go Long isn’t sanitized. The goal is to provide accurate, honest appraisals of players from those who ha

The pretty rickey guy seems convinced that the Giants are drafting a qb tomorrow and that they may trade for Aiyuk.

I can't remember where I heard it (McAfee or Eisen), but one of them mentioned McCarthy already is pretty familiar with Daboll's scheme. There's a coaching tie there with one of his OC in college who is now with the Giants.

I'm starting to think:

1. CHI Caleb Williams

2. WAS-Daniels

NE-Maye

ARI-MHJ

LAC=Latham or Alt

NYG-McCarthy

TEN-??? (Nabers, Alt, trade down for Latham)

IF MIN gets ahead of NYG for McCarthy, then I think NYG most likely takes Nabers which leaves Alt or trade down and grabbing Latham

If they think he's the best run blocker, I could see it over Alt because they want to run the ball.

The most accurate mocks/info tend to come out about this time and the day of. A LOT of  Chargers and Titans linked to OT, Giants with QB.

The caveat being most "insiders" are saying that Maye is the QB the Giants want and probably can't pry him away from the Patriots.

Anything is possible but if you partake in the late pre draft buzz there doesn't seem to be the desire from QB needy team to get in front of the Giants.

Where exactly would they trade down and still ensure Latham?  Might be tricky considering Latham ascension.

9 or 10 would be the farthest I would think.  I don't see a trade down possibly happening unless both Alt and Nabers get picked. At that point, with Latham's stock seemingly on the rise, you might just take him at 7.

Maybe the Chargers GM (who used to be with BAL) is thinking Latham is Orlando Brown Jr. Anoher massive guy and the Ravens have drafted a lot of Bama guys.

They never took anything other than LT early though.

Claiming credit? I thought you believed they were never going to take a right tackle that high. At least after the combine you were arguing with me and Aussie about it

lol Miller has been proclaiming all draft season how much lower he is on Latham compared to the rest of the draft media.

All this Latham smoke has to give some credence to the LAC rumors
