There's an easy test for this.  See which one of these waived players get picked up and perform at a high level elsewhere.  That's on coaching.  The guy doesn't get picked up and or just sucks on another club, that's on personnel (JRob).

I see your point, but I just don’t know, at least not in every case.

If a guy gets bad coaching for 3-4 years during his physical prime that’s likely more damage that can be undone before that players career is likely over unless he’s a freak athlete. That is if the issue isn’t the typical being misfit for a scheme but actual bad coaching/player development.

The fact players are doing this when they are leaving says a lot about what is going on in that locker room and how the players view the coaches.

While I agree. People like Monty Rice and Darrynton Evans are scrubs who wouldn’t make a single starting roster in the NFL. Rice will be lucky to get on the practice squad of a team. Hilarious that Evans was having his back saying “as we we talked about a few years ago, more blessings ahead” the best thing darrynton Evans has going on in his life is being a twitch streamer.

It's always funny when a player says Thank God they got shown the door.

Correct!!  Also, remember @Baltimore.  Adoree and Rashaan Evans made some all pro plays in that game.  After they left their games didn't elevate to all pro.

I really get blaming the coaches because there's a lot to that, like the Titans inability to develop WRs.  But some of these guys are just average players that can make big plays when surrounded by top talent where they have less responsibility.

Coaching does have a direct effect on players.  When we had Munch and Wash those guys knew how to develop players.  If Vrabel is running off coaches like them, that's a real problem.  A DC like Dean Pees, successful and 70yrs old, ain't taking much shit from anybody.  So who knows.

The great coaches are all driven and authoritative.  The not so great ones are similar.  It just boils down to the W's and L's.  The average NFL team scores 22-23 points per game.  The Titans don't score enough, but the Miami/Dallas way is not the only way you can win in the NFL.  A top QB adds more points than other players no matter what your style of play is.  A gotta have.

Will could be that for the Titans if he can stay healthy.  Will's bombs were great against Atlanta, but the game is more about moving the chains.  That's where you find the way to score consistently.

Very true. But I also don’t think we see players waived by the Panthers, Bears, Jets, Giants, etc saying this. That’s says to me at least some of the players don’t think too highly of this coaching staff. You don’t have to like them, but at least not disrespecting as you walk out the door should be the expectation. Especially right after another player JUST did it two weeks ago. Says a lot about the player most likely, but also hints at some issues behind the scenes with specific players at the least.

There are plenty of touchy players that don't like the New England coaching style as far as being held accountable on another level.

Hopkins touched on it when he was signing here - they coach you hard and are very blunt and up front with guys.

Darius Slay, among others, went out of their way to sabotage Matt Patricia when he tried to implement it in Detroit; mind you Patricia is a bit of a douche and not a great people person.

Evans (Rashaan) is a scrub too.  Adoree Jackson is one that got away from Vrabel and blossomed into a better player.  Looking at most of the draft whiffs, they are generally on Jrob just picking stiffs.  The only other part here is that obviously Vrabel wanted these players on his team so he doesn't escape accountability either.
