He should have been. It’s by far worse to go to four straight championships and come up empty handed than it is to lose one. Losing four in a row is quite possibly the worst feat of any team in sports.

Get real. Just getting there is an accomplishment. If your team didn't get there, that only means they didn't survive the season as long as the team that got to but lost the Super Bowl. Losing BEFORE the Super Bowl is worse than losing IN the Super Bowl. It's just a fact. It's like you are rewarding NOT TRYING...

It really is pathetic how they try so hard to discredit a city for the one good thing it did lol.

Titans are my team, but I grew up loving football-- especially the old AFL teams Who can ever forget Jack Kemp and Elbert Dubenion, Booker Edgerson, and Cookie Gilchrist... EXCITING TIMES.

I root for the Titans every time they face the Bills but that doesn't mean I can't respect the Bills' history. Every team wishes they had won more.

Both the Pats and Broncos have lost more Super Bowls (5) than have the Bills (and the Vikings) with 4 so if shame is measured by title games lost...

It's too bad that @japan and @rns90 have such short and dim outlooks that they can only mostly crap on other people.

You two just reek of that macho bullshit about winning/losing. You should be made aware that if you are a Titans fan, you really cannot pound your chest much-- one Super Bowl appearance in over 60 years of trying. How can The Macho Brothers be fans of that?!

No way.

I’m not sure what perspective you’re talking about I guess. As a team that is incredibly devastating to lose 4 in a row. A fan base it must have put that town on a permanent bender, which we are dealing with their offspring around here. As a franchise I don’t think it’s ever happened before in sport’s history. All ending in failure.

So, if you’re going just from the stance of wins then sure I’d rather have the shot. They had the shot and lost 4 straight times and never been close again.

So, like I said, I’ll take the Titans/Oilers history and franchise without the massive stigma of losing four straight championship games. I also am glad not to be a fan having to watch that debacle.

The old dopes coming to rescue the Bills trolls….

You probably cannot understand this, but I'm not rescuing anyone. I'm just speaking my mind. I know your thing is to divide people. That's not mine. Mine is to delve into the topic and contribute what I think is meaningful. However, I will punch back if I feel the need....

Or, you could for once take a joke in stride and make one back. Just a thought.

I appreciate Charley and Scine’s point that I would always rather get the chance regardless of the outcome. That is looking at it from a present and future standpoint. Losing four straight championship games has never happened and will never happen again.

It isn’t an accomplishment to create that kind of record, especially when you have one of the league’s best QBs on the roster who couldn’t win 1 out of 4. That is unprecedented and depressing. Look at the Bill’s posters guys. We are five weeks in and they’re comparing their team to the all-time greats. That legacy has done this to them. It’s extremely personal to them.

Never close again? We were in the AFC Championship game literally this year lol.

You literally can’t be closer.

And were completely dominated. You won’t see any of us around here saying ‘we were so close in 2019!’ Just because we were up in 10 in the 1st. We weren’t close. We got dominated just like the Bills.

Like I’ve been saying, to fans like you and yours I can understand why it would mean so much.
