Remember how insane the right went when Ted Cruz and one or two others were yelled at in a public restaurant? Yet now those same assholes laugh about someone literally invading Pelosi’s home and physically assaulting her husband.

They are the biggest pussies on earth and afraid of their own constituents.

I swear something is seriously wrong with you guys. You aren't even good at making jokes about it. At least be funny, tards.

It's more than a joke.  It's designed to minimize the significance of political violence which Trump and Republicans created the atmosphere for. I had an acquaintance say something similar yesterday.  Good chance he was repeating what he heard on Fox or other right wing news.

One reason I would personally be less hyped about the the national prospects of Whitmer or Shapiro is that we know they were beneficiaries of running against terrible candidates. Charlie Crist might be a bad candidate, but Whitmer and Shapiro's opponents ran well behind the general Republican votes in their states.

I'd also pump the breaks a bit on DeSantis hype myself because I think success with Florida demographics doesn't necessarily carry over nationally.

Shapiro yes, but Whitmer had coat tails that flipped both houses of their state legislature. She and Beshear have some political skill and statewide GOTV machines that we don't see with many other Dem governors.

Beshear's won 2 statewide races as a Democrat in Kentucky for God's sake.
