Very few would say Biden has been some excellent leader during all of this, but the fact is the massive spending in 2020 and last year by Congress (one Republican and under a Republican President) along with the massive supply chain bottlenecks did not start under Biden and would have continued no matter who was president. This is simply a fact. As for gas prices I can agree somewhat that Biden coming in with the BBB and trying to move on from oil to satiate his left flank has had an effect. I don’t believe it’s nearly as large as all of you make it out to be, but it definitely hardened oil producers to say ‘fuck this let’s get this money as much and as fast as we can and to hell with domestic prices’.
