That was kind of meant to be a joke.

I am curious if you think I am saying things that are logically inconsistent with my other posts, or if you think it's more an issue of volume. I think a lot of my posts are me disagreeing with the flow of the conversation in a thread, but I don't think I'm any less internally consistent than anyone else.

I think the issue is that I tend to find what I disagree with and post my thoughts there. I guess that is literally being a contrarian. I'm not being disingenuous though. Personally it seems more interesting to get into the disagreements than the agreements.

I can see how over time if all I do is disagree it would be harder to nail down what I think, which I think is what has happened since I've been called out for being too woke, a Trumper, and a Bernie bro at various times.

They didn't really lie. At least there's no way to prove it.

If you read the actual letter the 51 former intelligence officials put out, they basically said they think that it's Russian disinfo but they can't be sure and they don't know if the emails are real or not. This seems totally reasonable.

It is for all these reasons that we write to say that the arrival on the US political scene of emails
purportedly belonging to Vice President Biden’s son Hunter, much of it related to his time
serving on the Board of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma, has all the classic earmarks of a
Russian information operation.

We want to emphasize that we do not know if the emails, provided to the New York Post by
President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, are genuine or not and that we do not have
evidence of Russian involvement -- just that our experience makes us deeply suspicious that the
Russian government played a significant role in this case.

It seems pretty likely now that at least some of the emails are real since some have been "authenticated", but we still don't know if all of them are real or where they came from.

Would not surprise me if they had hacked Hunter's laptop and provided the information to the weird computer repairman.

In that sense, even if the information is all real then it is still a Russian attempt to influence the election.

I do think that all of the nuance was lost as you can see from the Politico headline. Simply saying it's Russian disinformation seems too simplistic, and really I don't think there's any actual evidence to say that it was even to this day.

Which emails that you know of are not real? So the Russians hacked Hunter's laptop in hopes that one day he would need to have the laptop repaired and then not pick it up at a repair shop? Why is the computer repairman 'weird'?

And if all the info is real, then it's is still Russian attempt to influence the election? WTF?

You never answered my question.

Do you think Trump intentionally calling on all the DA’s and pushing the narrative (before both elections actually) the election was fraudulent to the point he pushed Raffensberger to find 11k votes in his favor while two years later maintaining such bullshit after 60+ courts have shot him down is less important than e-mails by Hunter Biden?

FARA is what they have. Investigate and prosecute him. That’s fine.

Yes. Because one is complicit collusion between media, social media, and one party to exclude news damaging to that party. If the same thing was dine to Democrats you would howl. That is a threat to Democracy and the idea of an independent media is obviously not true.

As to fraud in voting, Wisconsin and Georgia are in midst of tracking down ballot harvesting irregularities including nursing homes.  Thankfully, not going to happen in 22 or 24…
