And guess what? Your idiotic policies and spending have cost most people 10-15 k per year in added expenses. Get outta here with fiscal responsibility bullshit. Taxing the rich isn’t going to solve all our fiscal problems. But you certainly can’t solve them without it. And 4 decades of cutting taxes on the rich has been a big culprit in the huge hole we have dug for ourselves. pamo9

Disagree. This is what infrastructure spending looks like -- massive. Infrastructure investments are net positive for a country's tax spending. This need was recognized by both parties as long overdue for our nation as Biden's infrastructure bill was bipartisan , as opposed to the unilateral 2017 Tax gift to GOP donors. Your deflection here has failed. re: deficit reduction -- there are competing opinions here , so I defer until we can have a better accounting. Oh, so it’s on the Democrats in the House (many of whom were conservatives) who massively cut taxes and increased military spending while Reagan and the Republican Senate were just innocent bystanders... El Guapo
We have record tax collections every year and yet spending increases totally outpace it. Infrastructure? Bullshit. It was nothing like that but rather a giveaway to pet liberal bs. “Tax cuts to the rich’ is such a tired mantra. When 40 % pay little or no income tax, who the hell is going to get cut? And here we have the supreme court debating the loan forgiveness, How is that fiscal responsibility? Only in this forum is record spending considered fiscal responsibility. headhunter

El Guapo
Will Joe or any Democrat condemn the Antifa attacks on the new police center in Atlanta? Or insist they were peaceful? The police should have just opened up on those fuckers. No loss to society. Fiscal responsibility instead of jailing them. Plus the DA will just release them so they can return to Portland or whatever other leftist paradise they came from.

Biden hasn’t done shit but increase spending. COVID emergency fund spending expired, nothing that Biden can claim or brag about. Clinton and Obama were forced to cut spending by the Republican controlled Congress. That’s not even arguable. Unfortunately Republicans don’t hold the line when they control everything. El Guapo
Correct. They, like the Dems, have their own pet projects that allows them to become wealthy by legal bribery, insider trading, and graft. The only infrastructure that really gets done is their investment portfolio.
