Regard inflation:

Congress can have some impact because they control federal spending.

The president can have some impact thru executive action and the veto.

But the primary  agency directly charged with controlling inflation is the Federal reserve  bank because they control interest rates and can buy/sell bonds.

From 2021:

Aug 27 2021 (Reuters) - Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell on Friday pushed back against concerns that swiftly rising prices could become an enduring feature of the economy, forcing the U.S. central bank to raise interest rates and cut short the recovery.

While recent inflation readings are "a cause for concern," Powell told the Kansas City Fed's annual Jackson Hole economic symposium, responding to what he sees as likely to be a temporary trend by tightening monetary policy could be a "particularly harmful" mistake.

https://www.reuters.com/business/why-fed-chair-powell-still-thinks-high-inflation-is-temporary-2021-08-27/

When Powell mentioned tightening monetary policy, he's referring raising interest rates.  He clearly miscalculated and that is why they just recently raised rates by 75 basis points which is unheard of and an attempt to correct his past mistake.

There are other problems as well.  Including supply chain issues in the private economy due to the pandemic.  Not sure how the federal government can do a lot to solve this issue? The government just can't manufacture more chips for cars for example.

In addition, there is a huge housing shortage (most economists say about 3M units) that has been a decade long dating back to the 2008 housing crash, in the making.  This shortage increases rents and and also home values. Guess what happens when owners get a lot of home equity?  Some of them borrow against it and spend, creating even more consumer demand.

The ridiculous part is how you’re so counterculture you sound like a Republican.

Disagreeing with Democratic propaganda does make me sound like a Republican but that doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

Come on, do you believe Biden “created 9 million jobs?” I don’t think anyone smart and intellectually honest believes that.

Biden must really be powerful if UK's inflation (9.1%) is also the highest it's been in nearly half a century

So we agree the stupid voters elected Biden. Good talk.

So what do you have to say about inflation of historic proportions being a global common denominator and not anything unique to the US and certainly not our current president?

Simply avoiding the reality and just pointing out something completely unrelated?

Biden "created 9 million jobs" and Biden "created 9.1% CPI" are both lies used for each sides partisan advantage.

Arguing with partisans about their lies is not productive.

Got it. Forgot that you don't actually understand how retardedly broad (and yet comically narrow minded) statements don't actually use any context whatsoever and are simply just facts.

How dare someone interject actual logic with a response. Usually that goes way above your head.

@LongTimeFan, Explain how you think that inflation is important when discussing Biden when many countries around the entire world are experiencing historical inflation completely unrelated to the US.

Legit have a conversation, not some deflection please... Voting doesn't matter one bit to me, I want to know why you think Biden has contributed to national inflation specifically
