No I don't think that has anything to do with super rich. It is the top 1.8% of income earners though.    Also if you think the proposals to raise the taxes on people making that much are ex

Medicare for all doesn’t even eliminate private health insurance. Millions of Medicare recipients have private supplemental plans.

It eliminates it as a primary plan option though, thus the concept "single payer."

As you guys know, I'm for expanding Obamacare to include a public option rather than a single-payer system.

It could be that you don't understand the complaint, but this doesn't really address it.

Some people would want to not use the public system at all. They would rather their own private (in their minds superior) health insurance to separate them from the rabble.

Bernie's plan would outlaw private insurance from duplicating services covered by Medicare for All, which is what those who complain about eliminating private insurance are complaining about. They don't want a "supplemental" plan. They want a separate plan for everything.

A little disingenuous. Medicare decides on a  fee schedule( which sucks) and then pays 80%. The patient is stuck with the 20% unless they have a supplement. But its still on medicare fees. Medicare Advantage programs and HMO’s like Healthspring try to get physicians to accept even less than Medicare.  Tenncare even worse.

Which is the best approach. Ramp up and let the government prove it can run healthcare at that level. over time more will join the public option. This idea Bernie and others have to eliminate private healthcare is not supported by the masses and yet they still want to cram it down our throats.

considering a Democrat congress might not even be able to renew Obamacare subsidies I think fear of a swift transition to single payer is quite unfounded.

I understand the complaint. I just don’t agree with it…

Look around. We're in the 2nd fucking Guilded Age…

Not much of an answer. Are the mega rich richer than ever? Yes.  Are any politicians going after them? Nope. Are they going after higher salaried professionals not even close to their league? For sure. Are idiots complaining that their degrees in worthless majors has not yielded any decent jobs? Not my problem.

And if you really gave a crap about any of this, you would recognize the disaster that have been Bush, Clinton, Obama, and Biden allowing their buddies and cronies and money supplying supporters to get filthy rich exporting jobs for essentially slave labor and sticking it to American workers.

As always, Perot was absolutely right. And Bernie style solutions are appealing only to socialists and marxists … pox on them…

Republicans gave the wealthy massive tax cuts. Repeatedly. Democrats generally want to raise them back but can’t get Manchin and Sinema onboard, so don’t give me the “no politicians are going after them” bullshit.

You love pretending that both parties are the same while voting for the party shitting on American workers…

I get that. But then you make up some antisemitic shit out of thin air and act as if she routinely gets embarrassed by people on the right instead of the opposite…

He literally doesn't know what he is talking about as usual.
