McConnell gets a lifetime judge for maybe few US Attorneys that likely won't be around very long anyways. And the other judge is still a senior judge who can be assigned periodically when the need arises.

McConnell is the big winner here if this goes through.

McConnell always wins.

Well, other than revitalizing NATO and Global Democracy and rescuing the economy and beating Trump again in 2024.

That's stuff anyone would have done. Biden alone didn't do any of this stuff. Of course the next guy was going to undo some of the Trump fuck ups

Any Democrat in office would have done that. Biden isn’t doing anything that any competent Democratic president wouldn’t be doing.

He won the primary and the general, so more power to him, but he needs to find a way to get more done. Fuck working with Republicans, he needs to get Manchin and Sinema onboard.

Honestly, Biden is Tannehill. No Super Bowl, but how many other former 40+ year Senator becomes POTUS and gets 10 Republicans to agree to billions in EV infrastructure in a historic 1+ trillion dollar infrastructure bill?

They could have done that through reconciliation. They didn’t even need a single Republican. Which is why it got some votes for something popular that was going to happen regardless.

Yes, sure, it would've just breezed thru a party line vote like everything else has!  🙄

I think Manchin and Sinema are lost causes. They almost pushed Manchin to the point of leaving the party when Biden personally asked him to stay in the party.

And I think you’re heavily discounting Biden’s presence and maneuvering on the world stage and his long held belief in NATO and hatred of Putin, and how those dynamics factor. Also, Biden is *literally* the most experienced foreign policy president in the history of the Republic.

Even if I fully disagreed or agreed with you none of this matters going forward. It sucks for his legacy, but it’s reality.

He's a Homer no matter what team it is.

Titans or Biden. They can do no wrong and every small insignificant thing they do is amazing.
