Really Disappointed in Vrabel

Probably not but again I’m not the GM.  My point is that they didn’t consider it and they certainly should have.

Would the Titans be better off today with Mahomes or Watson instead of Mariota and Davis?  absolutely and that’s the point.

So, who would have developed him?

Mularkey?

Robiskie?

Michaels?

And you think he'd look the same as he does today?

LOL,...  You CAN'T be serious.

??? It's 2019.  That was 2017.  No one had any idea what was going to happen.

You can play that game with literally any franchise in any sport.  This team should have drafted so and so and they'd have been better because of it.

If you didn't say it then, be quiet.

And no, they absolutely shouldn't have considered it.  It would have made no sense.  To anyone.

No it’s a complete failure.  They over drafted a limited player and didn’t have the stones to correct it.  Now they are paying the price.

Its a fact that hat they chose to go forward with Mariota and passed over Goff, Wentz, Mahomes, and Watson.  I can say they fucked up because they did.

I know you wouldn’t have done it because you think Mariota was fine up until a couple of weeks ago.

This is one of the dumber arguments I’ve seen on TR. If only we drafted Tom Brady and Randy Moss Jeff Fisher would have a handful of rings!

No.  No he wouldn't.

Vinatieri might have gotten him a ring or two though.

The Chiefs had an elite offense. Undefeated, lighting it up, etc. They managed 10 points at home against the Colts. Passing can be your worst enemy if not done correctly. A run game is still imperative in football.

no one is saying not to run, especially with henry back there. the problem is 1st down runs, predictability, refusing to pass with a slight lead or only in ideal scenarios when having a lead.

Sometimes dumb posters get elevated just because they agree with OMAN on whatever he's most vocal about at the time. There's a whole cadre of them at the moment...

My issue is with Pees. Both TDs were off play action and our defenders got caught looking in the backfield. Vrabel even noted this.

The game has passed pees .. he's another token that needs to be tossed!!!!

We just saw a GM pick a QB in the first round in consecutive years.  Seattle drafted Wilson after signing Matt Flynn to a huge deal.

I'm sure the critics would have panned it but they would have done so because it's not the norm.  I understand the thought process.  I just don't agree with it and think it's a bigger problem that the organization over drafted a limited player at #2 overall and hell or high water decided that no other viable option was on the table until 5 years later.

It's not debatable that Mahomes and Watson are far superior QB's to Mariota.  It's also not debatable that the organization has been a trainwreck with regard to QB evaluations since McNair.

because the 1st QB looked terrible.

mariota without injuries was on a path to break rookie passing records and going into year 3 was a leading candidate for MVP.

Matt Flynns contract had little to do with Wilson because Wilson fell and Flynn was signed as desperation.

Dont let your feelings now alter history. Hindsight is 20-20.. but ZERO teams would have drafted a QB in the first 3 rounds with Mariota coming off his 2016. To think otherwise just makes you look foolish.

PK had some stats last night on his podcast good and bad. One was WRs and their average target depth(I believe was the wording). Out of 67 WRs who qualified Humphries was either last or near last at just over 5 yards.

Humphries has been turned into an offensive weapon much like you'd use wet toilet paper as a weapon

It actually might be THE dumbest argument in the history of the message board.  I'm being serious.  Because it literally makes zero sense.  I want to know of an argument that makes less sense than this one that's been poached on this board.

Have you noticed that BudAdams is now using OMan's language.  He started off one of the threads about Mariota saying "We know why," an Oilerman special.  And he's had others as well.

I'm pretty sure he did that on purpose and was using the phrase as I did.

Did you notice jonboy used the term "welcome aboard"!
