(0.00777777778%) I mean yes, the math is the math. The important point is getting off zero. When everyone that participates in the stock market in an index fund has some allocation/exposure to Bitcoin is how additional adoption will continue. Can't get to >10T market cap without further integration within TradFi.

I get your point but it's not really a vote of confidence at all, as of now it's just doing your fiduciary duty and diversifying a tiny tiny tiny tiny bit Edited July 12, 2023 by wiscotitansfan

Nature is healing also forgot about this which is pretty huge. may have already been posted here... https://www.paymentcardsettlement.com/en Basically visa/mastercard lost their court battle with merchants. It used to be illegal for merchants to charge the CC fee to customers. Now they can and all are starting to across the board. So even though prices had the CC fee marked in, now they can still charge it on top. so shit even without inflation just got 3-5% more expensive with a CC. lightning/strike fees should beat that handily. I saw this week, that there is a bill in I congress that essentially allows the merchants to choose a non-visa/mc interchange to run CC charges. I am a big credit card point guy, so this could really destroy the credit card rewards industry.

Joe's Friend: Hey Joe, how's it going. Joe Proprietor: Not well, I lost my business. Joe's Friend: How? Your online business was doing great. What happened? Joe Proprietor: I started charging a credit surcharge and all my customers left.

Tipping is commonplace at gas stations... and every single gas station I know of makes you buy $5 of something if you want to pay with CC. business is not hurt a single bit. As long as some people accept these charges as normal then more businesses do them. The profit made on the charges is more than the customers lost ...and many places there will be zero alternative options.
