Now is a great time for some of you to buy some Cardano and join me and @NashvilleNinja's future billionaire club.

I wonder what Cardano's market cap would need to be for it to really moon like that though. I don't think it would ever overtake BTC, but if it can't pull the rug out from under ETH and take cap away from it idk if it'll ever get there. For all of Cardano's bluster about being peer reviewed, I don't think people will care if your product doesn't actually do anything. Not that it does nothing... it's a lot cheaper to move value on their network than on ETH.

They just really need to get smart contracts going soon.

In 20 years this guy will be famous from all the business school case studies on business failures on why a business should not stray from its main operations.   Many students will be confused how a CEO could be so clueless.

Or he literally will become the world's 1st trillionaire.

So digital wallets can go poof, and now people cannot access exchanges to trade, yet people still buy this stuff.  That seems a real world situation akin to the teenagers hiding under a rack of chainsaws in a Summer slasher movie.

There will be a future where there are many systems of currencies and assets and money all at the same time very soon. Deflationary and inflationary together. The wild Wild monetary West is really just starting.

The future?  It's the present!  Cryptocurrency isn't going to change the nature of finance.

Here's a list from this link:

  • Silver
  • Cryptocurrency
  • Gold
  • Stock Markets
  • Narrow and Broad Money Supply
  • Global Debt
  • Global Real Estate
  • Derivatives

The reason to be bullish on the future cryptocurrency is that it is small compared to other kinds of assets.  It is cheaper to hold than silver and gold, and yet has a small fraction of the total addressable market.

The reason to hold BTC is belief that in the long term, it will have another pop into the 100k range,  just like it popped well over 10k last year.

Smells like capitulation. Definitely sad to lose a shit ton of money on paper. I know I feel like selling to protect myself from further losses, but I know from experience when I feel this way the bottom is near and as soon as I sell we will have a massive bounce and I will trigger a huge tax event in the process. Not worth it. Maybe this cycle is over and we'll be in bear marker for another 3 years. I am going to hold and continue to buy.

I told myself I was going to try to sell when the warning signs were there but Cardano took off this weekend when everything else dropped so had no reason to convince myself anything that I could time the market (75% of my portfolio is ADA so wasn't gonna bail when it was going up)
