Good thing for you the airplane was invented. i got in in 2016. didnt miss the boat at all. made enough to take my investments back out, to still pay off my car, and pay off the remaining of mine and my sisters student loans... at one point had close to 23x gains in btc alone. eth/ltc/xrp have given me much better responses but the investment was lower. i've still got a decent sum left too. but now everything is automated for me. 175 spread across some coins every 2 weeks and i give myself another 50 to add to an up and comer coin or just put on one of the main guys if i feel like they've dropped excessively low for where i believe their futures will be. 400-450 a month is nothing for a little fun thats already paid off huge and has possibilities for more. i still invest other places so its not like this is all i'm doing Supdawg

The theft is a result of an exchange without proper security in place. This market is in its infancy. It's a lot like the wild west. It's not for the faint of heart. We are clearly in the early adoption phase in the S curve. There absolutely will be a mass adoption in the future. It's simply a matter of time. Again, this is not me shilling crypto. I just believe in the future of the market and I am putting my money to work as I see a huge opportunity to make money. There will be another parabolic growth curve in 2018 after a much needed consolidation phase. That will further cement the validity, potential, and staying power crypto has. TitanedUpSince'70
New to this thread but wth, as I said in Kyle's thread just now, it's Saturday night and I had some time to waste! Let's get to it... First thing, I never buy anything I can't get right back out of with the click of a mouse, or a phone call. I haven't done anything with Crypto for that reason. I stick to regular stocks. Cryto reminds me too much of sub penny stocks, trading for less than a penny. You might can get into them, but they can be hell to ever get out of, if you need to sell quickly. If you wanna just throw some cash in one and leave it there until whenever, then ok, go for it. I wish you the best. My story on how I invested years ago: I left the postal service at 49 (57 now) and never looked back. I invested all that I could in the 2 big subscription stocks SiriusXM (SIRI) and also Netflix (NFLX) when the market corrected before Obama took office. I figured back then that people will always subscribe to good content, even in the darkest of times. They always want to either listen to good content on radio, or watch good content on video. Or both. SiriusXM and Flix filled that need, so I went with them. Content is king. I had been trading in and out of them both for years and even traded the shit out of SIRI for awhile after I left the Post Office, before I finally just settled in for the long term to ride them both out. My returns on those 2 fucking stocks have been incredible to say the least. I stopped counting how much they've gained since about the 3,000% mark. lol I've since then shifted more into Flix instead of splitting the two evenly. I don't currently have anything invested in the total market like Oman does, but if I had started out sooner in my life investing, I would most likely have went that route. Since I didn't, I just happened to take a swing and a long shot on 2 stocks that I thought would pay off in the future for me and hit the big time. I have no worries currently, but I do miss working sometimes, just for something to do. I still might either get another job, or start a business sometime, who knows. Just thought I'd share my adventures and thoughts on Crypto, for some who haven't heard this story before. And most of you reading this know I dabble in my point spread hobby from time to time, just for fun. I did tell Oman about my stock adventures a couple years ago on here in a thread somewhere. Hope you do good with Crypto there Supdawg. I've just never followed it all that much. '70 says, go for broke and hit it big, or be broke trying to! lol Edited January 28, 2018 by TitanedUpSince'70 OILERMAN
