I don't think anyone can honestly say they thought Mariota would not only be a good player, but they also thought he would develop this quickly. Jake Locker had all the arm strength, mobility, size and toughness to make it in the NFL and under other conditions would have. If he had come out as a junior he was likely the #1 pick in the draft because of his off the charts physical measurables. Hmm, there seem to be some key QB attributes missing from this list. Can anyone else identify them? We will never know what would have become of Jake had he ever been healthy and not had to endure the circus around him which included a new coordinator every year. We do know that we saw him flash and play well at times before yet another injury would send him to the bench. You probably missed those games and we both know this. lol - this has to be schtick I know one damn thing, if he is drafted by Fisher and Jeff lets him run around and play Jake Ball he''s probably a legend by now as per the Steve McNair story. yep, it's schtick.
