It just makes him seem like a very self-important person and that rubs some people the wrong way. I couldn't possibly care less. No. He just has ppl that saw a potential revenue stream and wanted to have access. OR, he doesn't want to make money off of it but wants to keep other from making money off of it. This type of article on Jamieson allows people who already had a negative opinion of him to 'bolster' their opinion. The announcement was fairly well done and his representatives even said, it's use is "way down the road", football is first. I honestly don't know much about the Winston, but this gets me less riled up than the unveiling of RG3's logo coming off a down year and questions about his focus. Wanna know the level of interaction JW probably had in this decision...he probably had some legal team that thought of this and told him he could make money off it. He likely just gave the ok. and if he was smart he would have told them to hold off on that for a bit. Your right and it doesn't actually matter. Andrew Luck is football popular, which means non-football people could careless about selling bootleg materials featuring his persona. This has very little to do with football success and everything to do with personal branding. They're totally different, but self righteous white guys hate Jameis Winston, so I get it.
