OILERMAN
I must say, I am agreeing with Scotty a lot more these days and I don't know how I feel about it. More intelligent! Eighteen, and Yoshimitsu

Does this mean you have removed the death hex you put on him a few years back?
StephenIsLegend
Does this mean you have removed the death hex you put on him a few years back? Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let's pump the brakes on that notion. I mean, I wouldn't be mad if he croaked. But, over the years, a few more posters have risen that can take that spot on my list. I might add that to my signature. Haha. OILERMAN

Jamalisms
"Well at the time they did have pretty equal stats after four games, so I wasn't wrong. And I never said Mariota wasn't better." Yes, everyone was excited for Mett. We'd just witnessed Locker's career and had been calling for Mett since camp. No, the offense wasn't as consistent. No, he hadn't shown as much promise. No, he's not as good a prospect. Pragidealist
9 Nines
Here is the thread after Mett's first 4 starts Check out some of these responses and how much people were loving Mettenberger Its like taking two bottles of the same wine, and slapping a $8 price tag on one and a $100 price tag on the other. More people are going to go gaga over the $100 bottle after tasting both. Fans simple could not get their heads around the 6th round label. But that does not excuse the team's professionals especially after evaluating all the team's other needs and what other players they could have taken with the 2nd pick or pretty much filed multiple holes from with the picks the Eagles offered.
