  1. I love your incessant desire to build strawmen.
  2. Exactly...we have a pretty impressive Mt. Rushmore of players at the most non-needle moving position on the field....and now people are advocating for drafting one at #4.
  3. What did we win with CJ on the team?
  4. How would I know eating and fucking children is different from murdering your enemy? How do you get those confused?
  5. Yes, but killing your enemies is not eating babies while fucking children. Thanks for the clarification...no sarcasm.
  6. If any of it is true in the least, they need to be irradicated from the face of the planet.
  7. I think they mainly stick to kids...and then eat them after.
  8. I'm not going to accuse you of anything. If they don't grade the top pass rushers or WRs as game-changing, then trade back and pick up more top 100 picks. You don't waste the pick on a position you can pick up relatively solid value at in later rounds. I trust them to make the right decision, which likely means it's Tate or a trade back.
  9. Oman is right...and I have to believe that the Titans brass are more interested in becoming a SB contender than boosting the offense. If we waste our first rounder on a RB, it'll be proof that the franchise isn't serious.
  10. That's like winning the Special Olympics.
  11. Anyone drafting a RB in the first is retarded.
  12. He's going to be a guard in the NFL and played tackle at Iowa. I'd say your lack of knowledge undermines your credibility, but you don't have any credibility, so guess there's no loss.
  13. Staying and taking DeJean would have been the best option...despite 99% of this board claiming he was a safety because he's white.
  14. I'm in the camp of drafting an OT, just to see the board reaction. Only problem is we'd take the Benedict Arnold of LTs in Kadyn Proctor and I'd have to hate my team.
  15. Jesus Christ...did bongo get something correct? Everyone be on your guard....the apocalypse is upon us!
  16. I think claiming coaches watch film for anything universally is pretty retarded. Of course they are looking for strengths and weakness, but if a team has a pretty obvious tell, I don't think they are going to ignore it. There is a reason coaches keep getting burned for filming the opposing sideline.
  17. Why would you take a first round RB? That's fucking retarded. I would trade back if they aren't high on the EDGE guys, and having watched Lemon pick apart my Hawkeye defense, I'd target him later in the first. Ideally we get another 2nd or 3rd in the trade back and can watch Borg really build out the roster as he started doing last year.
  18. Either I talk to much about meathead, or not enough. Here is what I'll say about him this year...he benefitted from an insanely easy schedule, every break going his way in the playoffs, and having a real OC. He still got his ass kicked in arguably the worst SB ever, and acted like a petulant child afterward. Stephen A saying that NE isn't a good team and that it's likely they win 5-6 games next year is about where I am at. A lot will depend on if their divisional teams get better since two are getting new coaches, and the third is the Jets. I'm also looking forward to the McDaniels/Vrabel rift...I think 'success' is what kept it at bay this year, and if they struggle the two giant egos will clash. I also think he will be a lot like Fisher in that the longer he is there and brings in his own players, the worse the team will do. We saw Fisher increase the Rams win total in his first year, but he never could get over the hump because he started impacting draft choices and free agency signings. As far as Coach of the Year, it means nothing. Naggy and meathead both won it 2 years before they were shit-canned. This one means less than his first one since he had a fairly healthy team by NFL standards, the easiest schedule by far, and a cake-walk to the SB. I think an argument could be made for Shanahan, McVay, and MacDonald that would be substantially stronger than the case for meathead. Again though, despite my dislike of him as a coach, I bet he'd be a fun guy to grab a beer with.
  19. I haven't experienced a decade of fighting obesity because I've always been an active person and have lifted weights almost my entire adult life. Now, I've got other problems...I drink a lot, and while I'm no alcoholic, I have set some rules to prevent bad things from happening. Everyone has struggles, and we overcome them by being disciplined and by holding ourselves accountable for the outcomes. We sure as fuck don't overcome them by making excuses.
  20. It sounds like excuse making by those who claimed obesity was 'beautiful' and not a health issue before a drug came out that allowed them to do it without much effort. I don't doubt that some people fall into what you're saying, but it's a pretty brash generalization just like it would be if I said all fat bastards are lazy pieces of shit.
  21. Have you seen Ethan Suplee? That guy lost a shit ton of weight and said that he had lost/regained massive amounts before he finally realized it's a lifestyle change. The dude is jacked now, and looks great. He did it all pre-Ozempic.
  22. I don't doubt it...it's still other people's money though, regardless of the amount. In your example, if we have 11 people, one is taking $500+ and the others each $100....so 11 people are taking $1500+ of other peoples money. Add in the red tape bureaucracy costs and you're probably doubling that. I don't want this to get political, but as a divorced father of 4, I'm pretty aware of how frivolous people can be with other people's money. We see it politically on both sides, whether via social programs or defense spending.
