The Game of Thrones

And she loves dogs. And I love her. And both of those things combined to make me do the stupidest thing I've ever done. A couple years back we went on vacation in turks and cacos and they are overrun with these wild mutt dogs they can Potcakes. And there is a Potcake rescue place on the main island. Can you see where this is going? Lol this dog is crazy ad he'll. And mean. A real bitch. But she was basically a Ferrell inbred animal. She actually has come along way and shit when you spend that much time and effort training a dog you gonna get attached. I love the dog now. I won't deny it. God damn bitch of a dog though . She hates every kid with a passion and would kill them all but she loves my daughter. And my daughter loves her.3 points -

Homer Simpson once said "any problem caused by a tank can be solved by a tank." I took that advice to heart and smoked a little more. Cracking a beer. So this is a pic of a painting my kid did for my wife for Christmas. I think it's really good for 12. Or she was still 11 when she did this. And she is a pretty good Baker of cakes and other sweet delights.3 points -

Whoever said way back maybe the first white walkers they made was a stark. Well that may be just the link I am looking for in my theory. I think there's a good chance that is exactly it The children created the white walkers out of a stark and the stark volunteered for this. When cat says "there must always be a stark in winter fell" she doesn't know how right she is. Because that's the only thing that keeps the pact intact and white walkers at bay. The white walkers are also starks in a sense. Yeah that was a long time ago when they were starks but " the north rememvers" OK this is givibg ne chills a d now I'm freaking myself out. Wife and kids out of town and I'm all one and still high as fuck. I don't smoke like used to and this new shit I got is so damn strong. Lol I'm a vet though. Just gonna ride it out. I got beer so I'm good Oh btw I gotta ahsare this with you guys. My daughter is in 6th grade at this private school in macon. It's a good school and it's the best in town but still you know this is Macon so it ain't like a new York private school or anything. Any way their alot of rich folk there though. Doctors and stuff. I do pretty good and I make more than I ever thought I would but we middle class at best among these people. And I didn't go to a school like that when I was a kid so this shithe is all new to m.e. Anyway they had their awards ceremony and my daughter ended up winning the award for best overall student. Basicall h valedictorian if 6th grade. Lol. That sounds absurd but trust me at this school that means something. There are alot of patels and Pakistanis and other middle eastern. There are some smart fucking kids at this school. Anyone who is foreign sends kids their because it's only non religious school. Anyway my baby girl who also tore it up at sports this year btw which I never thought if see whipped all of their assessment in school. Number one studen . She got a huge Trophy to and it's like metal and heavy and shit. Ima post a pic if I CNN. It cut off at the bottom to hid her name. The medal is for best art student. And she is an incredible painter for 12. A real Renaissance gal! Anyway I am a proud poppa!3 points -
A long time ago someone gave me a spoiler that I guess the show didn't cover..... *Spoiler* Catlyn Stark was brought back to life in the books? And what happened, assuming there is no chance the show covers it?2 points

I always thought the Hadrian's wall bit (and it basically being England/Scotland) were really on the nose. The Glencoe massacre/Red Wedding as well, but then again I study Scottish history a wee bit more than most I would fathom (Clan Donald of Skye on me mum's side). Most interesting to me that the whole Lord of Light thing was created around Zoroastrianism. I don't think many people today have any grasp how significant that religion was at it's peak. And now poof - it is almost gone. With almost no one realizing its impact on Judaism/Christianity/Islam. Had the Sassanids not be more or less conquered by the Arabs, who knows? Might be a different story today religion wise. (fun tidbit - Freddie Mercury was raised in that faith)2 points -

Starkiller reacted to OILERMAN for a topic
I haven't stopped getting entertained and I have no reason to complain about the show so far. The worst thing I remember is the quality of the fighting in Dorn. After it's over on HBO I'll go back and listen to the audiobooks1 point -

Yeah, they meet deadlines... And as for the source material being failed by the show, GRRMs source material has not been remotely as good since the first 3 books. I don't blame the show as much for being less good because they had less to work with vs early seasons.1 point -

The writing is rushed and lacks depth this season, imo... but it has really worked.1 point -

Good point on that scene highlighting the sadness of grrms fail. It does suck for the guy. He was overwhelmed and destroyed by his own work. But man that is kind of the nature of art. Ask Wagner. There'd be no tears from him. The writing for the show is horrible at times.I I can admit it. But I maintain it may be all we ever get.1 point -

Thats what he gets for taking so long to write the book. I really don't get what all the hoopla is about with that scene though. I think some of you just fawn over everything.1 point -

There's no reason yet to think they they turned a Stark into a white walker. Nor did they say anything about the Wall being to keep men to the south. Men (wildlings) have been beyond the wall for centuries at that point.1 point -

That ending scene is simply one of the best scenes I've seen on television. Just powerful. Beauty. I feel sorry for GRRM. How can he possibly write that reveal and somehow "re-own" it?1 point -

And oddly, Bran wasn't the one telling Hodor to hold the door. It was only Meera saying that. Bran was basically just providing the connection.1 point -

I think it adds a twist but still backs up some of the reddit theory I posted. I still think there was some sort of treaty.1 point
