There is a big, big difference between not doing what you say you're going to do and standing in front of America and the world and telling bald faced lies about things that have already happened. All Presidents make promises that get broken. Some, like Gitmo and Iraq are because they are stopped by the same opposition party that then criticises the administration for reneging on its promises. Others because the simply underestimate the problems of a particular plan. But, whatever, lots of candidate promises go unfulfilled. But Trump lies about facts that have already happened and seems totally oblivious to the fact that he looks like an utter fool doing it. It's as if he is in some parallel universe where he can substitute his reality for any that doesn't suit him. Dems hold the cities by saying repubs are racist. Neither side gets anything. Repubs and dems get re=elected over and over. Where is legislation to re-examine and adjust America's trade? They got right on Dodd-Frank. It's the same battles over and over again. That's not progress. Now the idiot baby boomers are sitting silent while they dismantle medicare. They have children, what do they want for them? The baby boomers spent up the SS money.
