titanruss
i'm thinking 9-7 and maybe just miss the playoffs. our afc south record should be 4-2 if we get our shit together and 3-3 at worst. we should never lose to jax but seem to drop one each time. we should have beat the colts both games last year so i call a split this season.... and i think we will split with the texans since we play them the last week and they will likely be in the playoffs already. no way we can realistically call wins against broncos, 49ers, seahawks (unless russell wilson falls apart) which puts us at 4-5 or at worst 3-6 jets suck ass chiefs will be better but still bottom tier. oakland also sucks the ass cardinals may be terrible or ok... former good QB who hasn't done much in a while we'll win 2 at least, 4 could be pretty easy to win... but i'm thinking 3 so now we are sitting at 7-6 or 5-8 the final 3 games are all winnable games... pitt is likely down and will be missing some pieces early - still have a great QB. chargers should be down but have a great QB... rams are not scary at any level except maybe pass rush.... young QB who has shown potential but still not very good. so 7-9 is pretty much worst case 9-7 is my prediction 11-5 best case (but that includes upsetting one of SF,DEN,SEA and winning against ALL of the bottom tier teams) Edited September 4, 2013 by titanruss
Oiler FANatic
11-5 best case (but that includes upsetting one of SF,DEN,SEA and winning against ALL of the bottom tier teams) Even at 11-5 I doubt we will win any of those games. I think the Niners game is easily the hardest home game on the schedule, the Texans game is the only other one that's even close. The Jets, SD, Jacksonville, and Arizona are all bottom 10 teams and KC should be as well. Then the Colts have to travel to Nashville on a Thursday night, the short week will favor us. The two games at Seattle and Denver are by far the two hardest on the schedule, if we manage to win either of those games then I think it's safe to say we will be a Super Bowl contender. Historical note: for those who think the game in St. Louis will be an easy win, the only time this franchise ever beat the Rams on the road was back in 1981 (in LA), a 27-20 win Edited September 4, 2013 by Oiler FANatic
