It was widely reported pre-draft how much Vrabel loved Levis and the amount of time he spent with him while the Titans were vetting him.   Somewhat ironically it was Russini driving how much

It was probably his love for Russini

Vrabel might of soured on Levis when he realised what a colossal mistake they made drafting him but as Jim Wyatt confirmed it was Vrabel not Carthon that had the loudest voice in that particular draft cycle and there is no way Levis was drafted without Vrabel's ok.

Watch the games.

No it wasn’t, Russini and Wyatt’s reporting was that they were all aligned on Levis. At the time if you remember, it was beyond Obvious that Vrabel was trying to get his Ohio State boy Stroud but it was never happening

Vrabels biggest mistake was his love for Willis not Levis imo

It was absolutely reported that Vrabel loved Levis during the pre-draft process which many people forget because all they remember is how Vrabel soured on Levis after he worked with him for a while.

Vrabel loved both Willis and Levis until he had to actually play them and rely on them to win games.....

I'm convinced one of the big reasons Vrabel soured on the Titans and wanted out.  No coincidence that this was when the Vrabel is unhappy chatter started.

There is no way after what happened with AJ Brown that Vrabel was going to let a first year GM like Carthon draft a QB that he didn't want.

Should be pretty easy to link all of this wide reporting then. From what I recall, all the reporting around that draft was about them being aligned (basically a tell for how weird the power dynamic was)

Vrabel was a complete retard about Willis and actually seemed like he wanted to play him over Tannehill

With Levis, it was beyond obvious in preseason and the regular season that he would die with Tannehill over playing Levis until there was no choice

The idea that Vrabel didn't have a heavy hand in both the Willis and Levis picks is ridiculous.  Of course he did and I don't think in either case the GM and he were not aligned.

Some of us were making jokes at the time about Vrabel finding his meathead soulmate when there were those reports about him loving Levis.

It was also around the time when Vrabel was heavily emphasizing how he loved big mobile QB's that could run and stress a defense with his legs.

Disagree.  Vrabel never played Willis until Tannehill was hurt and then replaced him with Dobbs.

As for Levis, I think he loved him pre-draft but very quickly learned Levis' was basically uncoachable regarding dumb stuff that loses games.  Once he was forced to keep starting him, he checked out.

Callahan loved Levis at first too.....
