There are capable ones hitting the market every year . LT is the more difficult one . But they should not be having a revolving door of poop at RT since 2020. Paying him is the obvious play. letting conklin go wasn't the mistake. Sucking at replacing him was. As for Skoronski, really really good LG who got paid by what the market dictates. Good for him but miss me with the bullshit that this is some massive resigning.

I said he probably should be a guard in the nfl, that lateral movement is just such a weakness on the edge. Move him inside where he doesn't have to worry about that and he could be really good. No1 wants to hear that and we have no other options at tackle so that will have to wait another year at the least. I wouldn't be suprised if he plays tackle here for 4 years then goes somewhere else, gets plugged inside and goes to a probowl. Skronski may be the best guard in the nfl, he is definitely top 5, and that is with him being sandwhiched between a revolving door of mediocrity and blocking for retards and rookies. OILERMAN
Skoronski is likely worth a big deal regardless of the rest of the Titans OL and overall roster. Guards are more valued too with all the great interior DL. Conklin missed a ton of time with the Browns. Thrill, and Callidus

And it doesn't mean dick if the Tackles and center suck. What has Nelson done for the Colts? And dont make me laugh with the best gusrd in the NFL crap thats homer level shit. Really really good maybe great player at a position that is supplemental. Happy he got paid. Doesn't move the needle because he's an OG.

Ill take your opinion on linemen seriously when you finally join this millennium and admit RTs are valuable. I respect you on most things football but you are stuck in the past as far as Oline goes. I wouldn't be spending top 10 picks on guards but they definitely are worth the money if they are elite.

Them having few other guys to pay doesn't hurt. I am with you that us not having other guys to dish out money to isn't the why.

I said signing him to a massive extension is fine because they dont have much talent up for contracts. You dont extend him if you have a QB, WR, and some pass rushers up at the same time. Since they dont, spending on Sko makes sense.

Most of the titans podcasts suck too. We are starved for good content as a fan base. F words was good before Herndon left. But he was clearly fed up with arguing with tards every time he came on. Not sure if he’s podcasting at all now?? Mike where you at? But yeah. I think if 1045 cared about making good content they’d do an hour or two on soccer, an hour or two on the preds, an hour or two on Vandy/UT/MTSU sports, and then just have like prime time hours on the titans. Right now it’s all titans all day every day and there’s maybe a 30 minute segment on the vols here and there during football or basketball season. But football is king so we get 3 hour long shows of call-in “conversation” with the dumbest hosts imaginable. cenj
One LG does not decide if the team makes the playoffs, but 5 shitty OL virtually guarantee a losing season. The talent across the roster needs to keep improving, and that won't happen if they go into every offseason needing to replace over half the starting positions. Sko is ascending. He's young, durable, professionally dependable, and could very well develop into one of the best interior OL in the NFL. I didn't want to draft an OG that high, but it's done.
