Bc he's a guy I am intrigued by but likely know better than to draft. Otherwise round 2 just seems the best place to get that defensive player. I usually land on Peter Woods, Zion, or Lawrence. 3rd- if I dont give in to my personal preferences with fields (and probably bad preferences tbh)- I tend to land on Golday, hurst or or skylar bell. I like Sam hect and Conner Lew but have trouble seeing them take them there. That means looking at IOL usually in teh 4th- Slaughter routinely falls there and/or Logan jones. Once it goes into the 5th-- I have no clue. OT, CB are usually needs I haven't touched and I know the Titans have looked at some late OT's so I start to look at versatile, developmental online options. That's about what happens each time. so whetehr we get WR just depends on how it falls. Sometimes Conceptcion or Denzel Boston falls to 35 but not usually. And if we pass on a good defensive player in the 2nd, the options seem to drop after that. Its why I would love 2 2nds and would not complain if a trade down in 1 gets us a second 2nd. Iheanachor is so raw I wouldn't rule out him playing LT. Can latham make the switch back to LT? I think he can play either side, my doubts are that he will live up to his draft position. I agree round two is the sweet spot for defense. The only time I dont go defense in round two (lawrence, young or rodriguez) is if we go edge in round 1. Round 3 is all about OL for me. Hect is my guy, rutledge would be great as well, there are a few other centers I wouldn't mind as well. if they do for some reason wait on wr, Chris bell if he drops hard, Lance(my other wr crush) and skylar bell would all be great. I am not a big fan of defense in the 3rd, if Golday makes it I would be on board, centers will be left at 102. Should be good cbs there at 66 but I rather wait till day 3. Without a trade back I expect 3 of our first 4 picks to be offense but I split my 4th round pick pretty evenly between RB or DT, every once in awhile a saftey or center depending on my previous picks or a poorly fallen draft board. The 5th round I normaly double down on defense, predominantly LB(always), CB or DT. With our final 3 picks I aim for a project tackle, kicker and tightend or a RB/DT if I didnt get one before and someone falls. Pragidealist

headhunter
Don't want to derail other threads so I'm gonna put this in here but looking at Bains stats last year he only had 3 sacks in the first 10 games. He's gonna miss so many sacks with his short arms and lack of length.

If they're constantly collapsing the pocket with Simmons, JFM, and/or one of these pass rushing DTs they may add in the draft and disrupting the other team's plans does it really matter if he has big box score numbers? What did Myles Garrett's 23 sacks last year do for the Browns? What he do for them in our game against them? Pragidealist, and Callidus

He needs to generate a pass rush on his own and not have to rely on simmons and JFM. Its hilarious to think people are not concerned with the arm length and his overall squatty build. It's like you have never covered the draft before.

Maybe you should look into his other attributes more because they may be what Borg and the rest decide to use in favor of picking him at 4 in spite of those co-called career limiting attributes. Ive watched plenty of videos of Bain. I think his limitations will cause him to be the 3rd DE on most teams for the rest of his career if it's long enough
