Personally what's probably going on is that there's mutual interest but the Titans see him as the 2nd guy to Simmons and want to pay him as such and he wants to get paid. So if the Titans are balking at his price then there's probably someone who will pay it which means... odds are someone pays him more. Would Joey Bosa be possible? He's more of a strong side guy like JJ though iirc. I dunno.. we'll see. They need a wide 9 pass rusher and a penetrating DT next to Simmons.
