IsntLifeFunny
Hall is going to get around 10 to 12 million a year, nowhere near what McCaffery, Saquan, or even Henry are getting paid. So the whole top 5 RB money is a misnomer anyways. Callidus, and Omar

You're the same people who will be bitching about Hall being overpaid in a year or two. You've had some terrible takes on this board. Classic internet nerd who thinks he know football more than everyone else. Lol sure.
rns90
15 minutes ago, IsntLifeFunny said: Yes it does lol. The RB market is a hell of a lot better than the WR market, and Cam needs weapons. Simple as that. This team really can’t afford to spend another premium pick on a RB. And FA is basically an easy avenue to acquire an increase at that spot. And Pollard despite the good second half numbers looked fucking slow. Keeping Pollard who isn’t cheap is a horrible idea. His YPC were low because they've had by far the worst offense in the league since he was drafted. What kind of offense has Tony Pollard been in the last two years? socaljake

It's true, but you can tell he's lost a step. I'm not banging the drum for Hall. I've just watched him play, and he's a damn good RB. socaljake
IsntLifeFunny
I'll put it like this, if I can get Hall for 11 and save 7 by cutting Pollard I'm doing it. Kcroy420, ChemEngr79, and Omar

If we are taking first year cap number it’s probably greater than whatever Pollard is getting but less than 11. So I’d guess like 8 million . They are not really spending that much to upgrade when you consider that . Just checked Pollard’s cap number is 9.2 for this year. They totally could decide to sign him and I would find a way to get on board with it. I’m talking about value. Signing names just to sign names is Ran Carthon stuff . socaljake

I'm confused as you're all over the place. You mentioned his YPC. I said that's because he was on a terrible offense. You respond with so was Pollard. I said true, but noted he's lost a step. So, yes, if the choice is Hall for 4 to 5 million more I'm personally doing it. Good talk.

I think it’s pretty comical that they think that Pollard at age 29 and at a high cap number will continue to be a top 10 RB ( which is what he is paid as) IsntLifeFunny

Hall is easily a better RB at this stage than Pollard. More explosion, less tread, and is more dynamic. You don't sign him just to sign him. You sign him to upgrade the offense. socaljake
