Ridley in college and the pros has hovered around 60% catch rate. Which is pretty low for a guy talked about as highly as he is. I didnt realize that till he got here. I thought the drops with the jags was an isolated thing but should have dug deeper that FA period.

Ridley is a Z who has been forced to play X. His catch rate was much higher when he was able to play across from Julio Jones.

Weird how that works.

Love immediately makes you a more explosive team. He's going to add 10-20 TDs a year through the run and pass game. He's going to upgrade your pass protection. He's going to force teams to account for

The Jaguars gave up what again for Travis Hunter? This notion we should take less capital is kind of mind boggling. If a team wants to move then they need to pay the full price.

You think how well you catch the ball is dependent on who you play across from?

If you dont catch the ball you dont catch the ball. If you wanted to use his qb as an argument that is responsible but you didnt.

Edit: and if he cant get open as an X he shouldn't be getting targets as an X. Another thing tate does much better than him.

What? We’re obviously talking about them as prospects

You guys are putting an incredible amount of stock into Tate’s catch rate and contested catch rate while ignoring all red flags.

You think playing across from the #2 CB and getting a free release doesn’t impact catch rate?

We don’t know if Tate can play X in the NFL. I suspect he can’t.

This they do... I just can't figure out if that's valid or not.

Yeah, that’s the point. Ridley was every bit the prospect Tate is. Maybe better.

Corey Davis and Mike Williams going in the Top 10 set back the draft value of WRs for years.  The idea of using a Top 10 pick on anything other than a generational-esque WR became complete blasphemy.  Tate clearly wouldn't have been an exception to this rule and likely wouldn't have even been drafted in the 1st round in 2018.

I believe the arm length is a killer for Borgonzi but you know this is just nashville media piling on after what Jeremiah said yesterday. Its how media works these days.
