I thought the drops with the jags was an isolated thing but should have dug deeper that FA period. Ridley is a Z who has been forced to play X. If you dont catch the ball you dont catch the ball. If you wanted to use his qb as an argument that is responsible but you didnt. Edit: and if he cant get open as an X he shouldn't be getting targets as an X. Another thing tate does much better than him. You think playing across from the #2 CB and getting a free release doesn’t impact catch rate? We don’t know if Tate can play X in the NFL. I suspect he can’t. Corey Davis and Mike Williams going in the Top 10 set back the draft value of WRs for years. The idea of using a Top 10 pick on anything other than a generational-esque WR became complete blasphemy.
