Could they trade him to a team looking for a backup that has cap room and give up picks just for the ability to get him off the roster, similar to what Houston did with Brock Osweiler after the 2016 season?

No team wants him in any capacity. He's also God awful

The Dolphins will be in the running.

I don't think so. I think people assume they're going to suck because of who's not there anymore. They may be in the running for a top 10 pick, but Willis could surprise some people. And maybe one or two of those rookie receivers will show up with Malik Washington. Chris Bell may have been a 1st/early 2nd pick if not for the injury concerns. They also still have Achane and some nice pieces on defense, with the rookie LBs Rodriguez and Louis.

Time will tell.

They are in the running for the #1 pick

Until proven otherwise, of course. I'm just saying they could surprise. And by surprise I don't mean vy for the playoffs. Not even the homerest of Dolphins fans would believe that. If they draft outside the top 10 it'll be a shock.

Has any quarterback ever fallen off more than he has in NFL history?  There was a time that he was legitimately a top five QB in the league.  Now he's not even starter quality.  It's really amazing if you think about it.  I know he's had injuries but so have other QBs and he fell off before the injuries began.  Also, he should be right in his prime now, he was drafted the same year as Mahomes.

If anyone tries to say the AJ Brown trade was worse than the Watson trade at this point they need to be euthanized for the good of the species.

Watson was a good QB until he got caught doing what millions of Americans men and women do.  The negative energy that he received shattered him, physically, mentally and maybe financially.

Lesson::Don't do negative shit.  Stay away from negative people and places.

A lot of people get upset by Shedeur's watch :591_watch: celebration.  He making bank off the people who hate him.  None of them were ever going to buy his stuff.  By continuing to do it, he gets bigger and bigger.

Considering how bad he is he's in the running, Didn't Cullpepper fall hard?

But I remember me and bud both arguing Watson was overrated, he compiled stats as the Texans won 4 games. He was never top 5 although way better than this

Yeah. Delusions of grandeur helped Manziel make more money too.

In 2019 he was pretty damn good.  In 2020 he compiled stats but I remember the Titans couldn't stop him.  Granted that defense was bad regardless and they couldn't stop anyone.

Culpepper fell hard but I don't think it was like this, and certainly not for the same reasons.  I think teams figured out how to stop Culpepper.  That and, probably more importantly, Randy Moss went to Oakland.  2004 was his best year and he fell after that when, probably not coincidentally, Moss went to Oakland.

I'm not familiar with his celebration but if the key to success for the Browns starting QB is "making bank" Watson is the ultimate winner!
