Oliver is a lock to make the roster.

Agreed, he's on many units and a very good gunner

He has an outside shot to contribute as the X WR

It's possible that we are looking hard at the waiver wire for #7, we tried out 3 receivers today..I'm pretty comfortable with the first and second tiers, with or without Burks or Restrepo..

Burks' only shot is to show that his recent marriage, finally getting in shape, and being a pro (that he should have developed into sooner) means that this is the "real Burks".. that's what it's going to take IMO and  we are fortunate enough to see this pre-season just what the "real Burks"  looks and acts like.  Maybe Callie tries him at whatever position Deebo Samuel (x receiver/running back?) played.. that would be an interesting weapon for Ward if it worked out.. he has to be trying to compete with Jefferson to make the team..Jefferson looks pretty happy in his role of X receiver.. he's faster than Burks and ,  a solid pro, the kind of receiver that a rookie QB wants

Restrepo could be a good player.. he's pretty solidly built, doesn't shy away from contact, has great hands, and will be where he's supposed to be .. I could see him breaking a tackle or putting a solid block on a cornerback or safety, but can he get open against NFL corners and safeties?? I can see where Ward and Restrepo have worked together so much that they both know where he's going to break off a route , still I want to see it..

Gee, it sure feels good to talk about football again!!

6-5 with a 4.37 40 time and 1.51 split. Can jump through the roof.

Only 1 productive college year and none in the pros.

I watched his highlights.. quite the athlete on film, looks better than Burks on some of them.. wonder what is his problem that no team wanted to develop him?? I mean we are in the draft and develop business now

I have to assume they are just to catch a lucky upgrade t the last couple of roster spots.  Why not throw a flyer on a Randy Moss body clone

Football? I thought this was your pitch for a hallmark movie.

He was at UGA before transferring. Great practice player. Raves. Intangibles. Then worthless in actual games. Same thing in Arkansas.

Everybody wanted ti develop this kid because of his talent. No one succeeded. Its on him.

He’s been waived by 4 NFL teams and 2 UFL teams so far. I’m going to guess he’s a better athlete than a football player.
