Whether you love it or hate it, it has been fhe team's logo for 25 years now. it's uniquely identfiable. People who follow ball know who it represents. Changing it for the sake of changing it because you don't think it's "cool" or "tough" is not a good enough reason, imo. Look at what happened with the Cracker Barrel logo change. Whether you eat there or not or even give a shit about the restaurant, the logo was uniquely identifiable. Changing it was dumb. Lots of people have thought it was broken for 25 years. The only thing that happened with the Cracker Barrel logo change was a mindless right wing battle to distract from other issues and a reason to rebel against any change at all. PTSD from aunt Jamimah and the fight against them big city libruls that would do that to the cracker by the barrel. Logo's change all the time with great success. titanruss
why have any changes at all? We should just go back to the cartoon image Bud had made of himself for the logo. Why not bring the gold back too? Edited January 23 by titanruss Lantern, and Supernope 1

I don't give care why people didn't like the Cracker Barrel change, it was a stupid change. And it was reverted. Fyi, the little swoosh on the Amazon logo looks like a bent pecker. But I guess if it hits the g-spot of your artistic soul then so be it.

The point was that logo's change, most often for the better and they can be iconic and what is associated. I doubt anyone even remembered the old amazon logos. I will agree that the new cracker barrell logo was too plain and boring.. but no one would have cared if the political right didnt make such a huge stink. CreepingDeath
RE: Changing logos I thought it was a fun coincidence when some teams changed logos that they immediately went to the SuperBowl. Broncos and Patriots. Bucs quickly became contenders in that same era after ditching the pussified creamsicles. Titans only SuperBowl was the same year they changed logos. -- The Titans are about to fully enter a new era. New stadium. New HC. New franchise QB (#1 overall pick). New jerseys. New logo?? Lantern
I have seen multiple reports on this. Seen so many suggestions. What do you think? I honestly really like our current digs. I know many of you want a new color scheme to align with the Oilers color scheme, and many want a new logo. I actually really like what we have now. I personally would not mind a new logo, but prefer the "Tennessee" color scheme and not the Oilers. These are the Titans not the Oilers. I get most of you prefer the Oilers colors. I also prefer the new blue helmets over the white scheme. Edited January 23 by Lantern Hyperion
Callidus
Was it the 25page long thread on the front page that tipped you off? Jokes aside, for the uniforms I like the light blue over the navy. Im not part of the just use the oilers uniforms crowd, or oilers with a titans logo guy. I want something distinctive which the two tone blue gave us. I will give the oilers uniforms the benifit that they actually have red in them which would make all the red gloves and sleves make sense. I honestly have no idea what they will actually go for and as long as they get rid of the dumb font and "sword" on the shoulders it should be an upgrade. What we do know is the columbia blue will be the primary and navy will be the alternate/rivalry unifoms. They have also said it will be inspired or more like the oilers uniforms which is fine imo as long as they dont copy paste them. Lantern

Hyperion
I like the current look too. It certainly beats the hell out of looking like the Oilers, that's for sure. It's ironic that they finally wore the best combination this year at home. Navy helmet, light blue jersey and white pants . Now once they found it they're going to do something new. Going to an Oilers inspired look is such a big mistake. You can overdose on nostalgia and to be nostalgic for a look that was basically never here will get old really fast. My guess is people will beg for something 1999-2017 style soon after. The team is known as the two tone blue and the blues should be balanced. In a perfect world they'd have a light blue helmet, gray facemasks, navy jerseys, solid light blue numerals and gray pants. It boggles my mind that they don't have a light blue helmet when they could be the only team in the league with one. Chance9, and Callidus

Hard to know without seeing it though.
Somedude
I like the all navy look in the Henry years. Only thing I would have changed is the number font to be more stylized block. Pretty much basic classic block number font but the corners have a point similar to the current numbers. Seemed strange they went for Greek inspired font but not the rest of the uniform or logo. TBH the current helmets are the best they ever looked.
