If Hunter turns into some lock down nightmare of a corner to have to face then maybe you consider the move a non-failure. If he ultimately turns in a HoF career then people will forget about how much they gave up. But there's a long damn road to travel from here to there.

But worse than Iaiah Wilson? Only in capital given up. If he gives them value on the field at all, and he already has, then no... hard to say it's worse than Wilson, imo.

Well, they did trade up, and he's not gonna be a HoFer. He was barely a draftable corner. His WR yards were crazy but dude it was Pac-nothing bs. His draft grades are all clickbait hype bs. As a receiver, he's Devonte Smith on his best day BUT he fucking ain't even that good.

I was on the Buffs hype train early. He was a crazy athlete doing crazy things with hardly any pushback because it was backyard league. Listen to this shit they said about him

"AFC executive ... “He’s the best receiver in this class and then there is a big dropoff. He’s comparable to last year’s big three of (Malik) Nabers, (Marvin) Harrison (Jr.) and (Rome) Odunze, in my opinion.” – NFC personnel director"

I hope the media devotes half the 2026 draft coverage to admitting how stupid they were drooling over this awful trade for this overrated player.    LOL @ the tards who raved about his WR sk

I'm just interested in seeing how he does as an NFL WR. The Jags traded the farm for him, picked him #2 overall. Before the Jags worry about having a two way player they better hope he's a quality WR.

Talking of Lawrence, I saw this a while ago.  Amazing how perceptions are so different on these 2.

Now think about Carnell Tate as a player next to Hunter. Night and day.

Tate succeeded on a lot of wide open passes BUT he fucking owned on contested catches too. I don't understand how any serious person could evaluate Hunter and think he's gonna be a star. The scouts weren't being objective OR the leadership gave overrides.

That aside, I think Hunter could be a good corner if he dedicated himself to the craft. He has the athleticism (don't know if he has the speed and quickness cause he didn't run). I sure af ain't guessing on that based on pac-nothing comp. He doesn't have the build or route running to be durable as a receiver. He seemed to be freestyling on most plays with Shadeur fucking running around backyard style

Deion gets all this hype and it continues on with his players. They aren't a serious team and his players are grossly overrated.

Hunter wasn't just Deion though. He has been hyped for a long time. He was the number one recruit (by at least one of the evaluation sites) when he shocked the world and committed to Jackson State out of high school. Then followed Deion to Buffalo. The guy has been considered a blue chip player since his junior year of high school

So he's stupid then?
