Ya, their only good defensive player who is in the middle of a hold out after they lied about giving him a new contract is the guy who deserves the pitty. Until now, 30 of the 32 second round picks remained without a deal. Collins will have 88 percent of his deal guaranteed, a huge jump over last year’s No. 43 overall pick. Callidus
While the peospect of the current pace of 2nd round pick signing stretching into 2027 is interesting this is probably good news.

But I guess I should've said more like baseball with bringing up and sending back players... but since there's no minor league.... colleges will have to be it.... but since you can't connect directly as a minor league team, it's almost a direct competition league. Also Seems a tough legal precedent to say you can't play or work for someone willing to employ you. so either a minor league system develops- or colleges basically just start foregoing any academic requirements in order to deal with free agents and player movement....in which case they'd almost have to be separate from the schools ( but connected in name / historical rights) . Im no expert on European soccer leagues but are you kinda referencing the lower level teams that the top tier teams "rent" out talent to while they develop? A fair bit more but not fully guaranteed, though he's not quite front of the round.

Pretty much. I think the next round of lawsuits will be about players being allowed to go back to college, years of eligibility, and the league retaining right for like 4 years for whomever they drafted. Football is ripe for a minor league if the college situation gets too sticky. Callidus
