None of them played their role to the T over 7 championships like Brady. He never folded even in the losses. He had the single greatest comeback in NFL history and that isn't going to be duplicated anytime soon on that stage. We saw what happened to Mahomes out there and he's second in line. Don't get it twisted. I can guarantee that no other QB has had anywhere close to 17 Top 10 defenses.

I genuinely enjoy our back and forth's, but amigo you're really blurring lines between correlation and causation. That isn't how it works. As to your statement, why didn't he? Because he didn't need to. Duh.

When one condition is present in 100% of the positive outcomes, that can't simply be dismissed as coincidence.

Yes, it can, because correlation isn't causation. You can say there is a strong corollary factor but acting as if it casual is where logic breaks down...because that isn't how correlation and causation work in the first place. I see your point, and it's a good one. Maybe when someone else gets to ten SBs, say Mahomes, we can circle back and see where we are. That's not to say he didn't have some horrid moves. But they all do. SF and Seattle have had drafts and #1 picks that rival Robinsons and their GMs are still there. There is a huge amount of luck involved in the draft One of the worst runs at OL picking in the history of the league. So many resources. He was fine when Lewan was juicing, Jones and Saffold were healthy. Picked a decent RT and let him walk lol

If he wasn't drafted by the Patriots, he'd be buttering biscuits at Church's Chicken right now. Just look at how terrible of an announcer he is without Bill to prop him up. He is a no talent hack who got lucky with Randy Moss and Julian Edelman carrying him all of those years.

I actually agree with Terry that Brady may never have even seen the field if drafted into a different situation. It's not about Belichick, just that things worked out perfectly for him. Brady himself once said had he been drafted elsewhere it may not have worked out like this. Let's say, for example, the Cardinals had drafted him. How would that have played out? Or the Colts who were never benching Manning. He literally may have gone the Jim Sorgi route.

BudsOilers
BB & Brady are intertwined like Walsh and Montana, Noll and Bradshaw, Reid and Mahomes, etc. Their run together is unmatched in terms of duration and success. Brady has the SB without Belichick. Belichick has 2 rings as the play calling and gameplan guru for the Giants under Parcells when both teams were led by their defense.
