Essentially stock warrants with a fixed price, but I have no idea how the company would have the cash reserves to cover the gap, if the DJT stock price remains low. From what I read the warrants allowed investors to buy (not sell) at a pre-determined price and have already been exercised. begooode

She's killing him both politically and financially. I think he sells as much as possible, maybe with permission from the board before the lockup period expires. Only question is how does he spin it to his suckers and blame democrats. He won't have to spin. They don't care. Just ask the idiots who post here. rns90
Starkiller
https://www.cnn.com/2024/08/23/politics/trump-businesses-campaign-spending-invs/index.html With glitzy Mar-a-Lago fundraisers, stays at Trump’s hotels, and flights on the former president’s private jet, Republican candidates and political groups are on track to spend more on Trump’s businesses this year than any year since 2016, according to a CNN analysis of federal campaign finance data. Trump himself has been the biggest spender, both this year and over the last decade. Between his three presidential campaigns, Trump and associated political groups have funneled more than $28 million in campaign donations to his businesses – helping convert the enthusiasm of his political supporters into personal profit. Other Republicans have followed suit, spending millions at Trump’s properties in an apparent attempt to curry favor with the former president and signal their allegiance to him to GOP voters. But while political spending at Mar-a-Lago has attracted the most attention, the bulk of Trump’s campaign payments to his own businesses has gone to a lower-profile firm. His campaign and associated committees have spent more than $14 million on air travel from TAG Air, Inc., which operates Trump’s Boeing 757 jet – nicknamed “Trump Force One” – and other aircraft. Starkiller
Also, this is only money from political campaigns. It doesn’t even include rents and expenses he bilked from taxpayers or from foreign governments that went straight into his pockets. Or all of his legal fees being paid for by donors. Or the campaigns paying out to his kids as “employees”. Edited August 23, 2024 by Starkiller MadMax, and IsntLifeFunny

ctm
The executives at former president Donald Trump's Truth Social venture are officially starting to cash out of its meme stock. According to a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) CFO and treasurer Juhan Phillip has already sold a whopping $1.9 million worth of company shares. CEO Devin Nunes and COO Andrew Northwall joined in as well, selling chunks of their holdings. In simple terms, the meme stock is astronomically overvalued and not much more than a thinly veiled attempt by Trump to raise some much-needed cash from true believers and special interests looking to skirt campaign finance rules. "It’s purchasing his brand," vice president of research at Morningstar John Rekenthaler told Quartz. "But he’s not going to have a brand if he loses a second straight presidential election." With a second loss, the stock could "go to zero," Rekenthaler predicted. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/truth-social-exec-dumps-stock-145822626.html OILERMAN

He’ll basically become Grandpa Simpson. Fox News and Newsmax will find some other relevant Republican to devote airtime too. They have started to now anyway. nine
