Leaders have been vocal about locker room issues and players do this after getting cut. They've obviously got issues on the motivation front with some of these guys.

Is it just the losing? It's it losing when your coach is a hard line and that gets abrasive? Is it just turbulence that will fade? Something is wrong. How do they fix it?

The fact players are doing this when they are leaving says a lot about what is going on in that locker room and how the players view the coaches.

No, it says more about what kind of players they've brought in esp under Robinson.

I said it when he was drafted that Monty Rice was a bad apple, you could tell just by reading through his social media posts and scouting reports that it was a terrible pick.

Was Rice a bad pick?  Yes.

But that  doesn't explain why he was cut today.

Simmons directly said that there are guys who don't want to be here.  Rice was no doubt one of them.

When players don't want to be here and by inference aren't giving full effort, that points to the fact that Vrabel has lost at least a segment of the locker room.

The message is stale unfortunately.

The put on the tape comment from him seems more like being pissed he wasn't playing, not a lost locker room situation.

It could obviously be both, but that comment to me sounds like a personal grievance not a team as a whole thing.

What is the evidence of this?

It’s a popular narrative around here - but I don’t think the key players (starters) on the team are unmotivated or not playing hard.

Let’s weed out the malcontents right the fuck now. I don’t see big Jeff or Teair Tart or Derrick Henry or Autry taking plays off. They show up every game. Fuck that weasel and the guy that drafted him. IIRC, no one on this site was thrilled with the pick and several posters said WTF when we drafted him.  What’s up with these guys from Georgia?

With just a couple of weeks left, they should start promoting guys and pillaging the practice squads of teams for any decent players to at least get a look at.

Promote the following guys:

Tay Gowan and Shyheim Carter at DB.

Otis Reese at LB.

Ross Blacklock and Marlon Davidson at DL.

Thomas Odukoya at TE

TreShaun Harrison at WR

Some interesting players out there on PS:

QB Jeff Driskel (AZ) - was a backup QB for Kelly in Houston

RB Tony Jones (AZ)

TE Parker Hesse (ATL)
S Andrew Adams (BAL)

OG Tashawn Manning (BAL)
TE Tre McKitty (BUF)

S Matthias Farley (CAR)

OG Gabe Jackson (CAR)

CB Sidney Jones (CIN)

OG Alex Leatherwood (CLE)

DL Tommy Togiai (CLE)
WR Tyron Johson (DAL)
OT Earl Bostick (DAL)

TE Lucas Krill (DEN)
WR Tre'Quan Smith (DEN)

C Jimmy Morrissey (HOU)

DL McTelvin Agim (IND)

DB Michael Ojemudia (LAR)

TE Troy Fumagalli (MIN)

DB Joejuan Williams (MIN)

OL Yodny Cajuste (NYG)

CB Kalon Barnes (NYJ)

CB Mario Goodrich (PHI)

C Ross Pierschbacher (PHI)
