man oh man. What a monumental and franchise derailing pick this was.

If he hadn’t blown the Wilson and Farley picks, things could have looked a lot different around here. Just imagine if JRob had re-signed Conklin to play RT, drafted Tee Higgins instead of Wilson, then taken Darrisaw instead of Farley.

I think if this is my billion dollar business, I am keeping a close eye on the people I have running it.  If I don't know football, I'm getting tutored by knowledgeable people to become aware of what's happening at my business.  Detroit Lions owner, Mrs Ford I have seen at games appears to be in her 80's.  Team is so bad, two of the greatest NFL players all time just quit playing because they were so poorly run.

Either you, or your assigns need to be up on things.

"With the Fifth pick in the 2017 NFL....Come on up here Corey.  Does anybody have a wheelchair?"

Davis had his three best years with Mike Vrabel.  Not only that, Mike Vrabel had him 15-30 yards downfield blocking.

It's hilarious that other GM's were dumbfounded by the pick.  That the Vikings GM thought we were surely drafting Darrisaw and then ran to the podium when we didn't.

Bills obviously didn't get the memo regards short yard runs from shotgun.

I genuinely would like to know why they just don't run these plays out of there pistol instead of the gun. You can spread the field just the same and while the QB is now a little closer to the LOS, if you intend to run it's infinitely better for your back.

Panthers traded Caleb Williams, DJ Moore, and 2nd and 3rd round draft picks for Bryce Young

Does this have potential to go down as one of the worst trades of all time?

It certainly is looking pretty bad. Could have sat there, taken Jalen Carter, sucked this year and drafted Caleb Williams, and still had DJ Moore.

Carter + DJ Moore + Caleb Williams + 2nd and 3rd round pick = Bryce Young?

To make it worse, Bryce doesn't even look particularly good; definitely worse than Stroud thus far, and I would argue Anthony Richardson even looked better. Still a super small sample though, and his team around him is horrendous.

I haven't watched much of Young, but the advanced stats show he's a Checkdown Charlie- he's the least aggressive QB in the league (determined by how often he throws into tight coverage) and he has the lowest air yards per attempt.

It could certainly be an Alex Smith situation, where they passed up on a great QB (and a whole lot more) for  a guy who just takes the easy plays and doesn't add much else.  Exactly who that aforementioned great QB is has yet to be seen, but there are certainly some candidates thus far

Bama's great OL was able to hide his size deficiency, it really affects his play at this level; he has to come off the play design and either throw it away or check it down when bigger defenders get near him.
