Let’s just call it what it is:  after specifically requesting that he be named as special prosecutor in the Hunter Biden investigation....the GOP has now decided Weiss is corrupt and incompetent because he couldn’t find a pathway to have a POTUS impeached over his adult son’s  delinquent taxes and illegal handgun.

The fact he never properly divested his interests or put them into a blind trust makes it all the more hilarious when they talk about some measly deals in the millions of dollars that Hunter Biden was involved with. 

 

I saw where Ivanka and Jared added 600 million to their wealth in the 4 years Trump was President...while working in the WH...while biking every last foreign engagement they could get their hands on. It's hilarious.

I don't blame Jared and Ivanka either, because it isn't exactly breaking the law. Still, the silence from Republicans who claim the Bidens have misused the system for personal gain is ironic to say the least.

Exactly. They were doing their part hosting foreign dignitaries as representatives for our government. What business does anyone have discussing the 600 million they made being the beautiful faces of this great nation? 

 

Hunter on the other hand is a a scoundrel, a low down dirty thief who scored millions off his father's name while not even representing iur government. He went about it all wrong. He should have been working for the government. Instead he was merely working for himself. For shame.

The conviction of a man for possessing a firearm while an "unlawful user" of drugs has been quashed by an appeals court, in a case that could offer fresh hope to Hunter Biden, who has been charged with the same offense.

 

In a ruling issued on Wednesday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit overturned the conviction of Patrick Daniels, judging the initial decision of a lower court was a violation of his Second Amendment rights.

 

Daniels had been convicted under 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(3), which states that it is illegal for anyone "who is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance" to possess a gun. Kaelan Deese, a Washington Examiner's Supreme Court reporter, described this as "the same statute Hunter Biden is charged under" on X, the social media site formerly known as Twitter.

 

However, the higher court judged American "history and tradition" does not "justify disarming a sober citizen based exclusively on his past drug usage" in its ruling overturning the conviction.

Republicans have (inadvertently) admitted before that they have zero proof of wrongdoing by Biden. But even lawmakers who support impeachment proceedings don’t back opening an inquiry now.
