You just pay your back taxes plus interest and fines and move on. That happened to me when we sold our company and 3 yrs later the IRS said the cpas that handled the taxes inappropriately filed. I ended up owing about $250,000 in back taxes and fines. No jail time. The bigger concern is the pretrial diversion of the federal gun charges. I have been reading this never happens. @IsntLifeFunny is there some info on others getting this treatment from your sources? That one seems fishy and will lead to many problems done the road.
