He's been solid. Correct, reported as a shoulder injury. He did return after he initially hurt it in the 1st half but then never played in the 2nd half. Chiefs always struggle with very good defensive lines, especially ones that have a guy like Simmons in the middle. I am hoping that Mahomes uses the quick passing game on level expert this week. Jonboy Posted October 31, 2022 Report Share Posted October 31, 2022 With the way the division seems to be shaping up, the rest of the season is really about answering this question: How Do the Titans Compete with Kansas City and Buffalo in January? This week will provide us with a good indication of where we are currently. The matchup against Buffalo obviously wasn't pretty and showed how far we needed to go. The defense really seems to be coming on strong...and honestly, they probably have to be for us to have any chance - this week or in the playoffs. That being said, even with a great defense, the offense has to find a way to consistently put up points. 18-19 points won't be enough against either of those 2 teams. Our best hope is the OL continues to gel and improve with Henry doing what he does, Burks getting healthy and providing us with...something in the passing game, and hopefully the Tannehill/Hooper connection continues to build. I think the sprain was pretty bad judging by the hush hush act and weirdly overly jovial press conference last week with him. if Willis plays he's gotta find a throw or two he's comfy with.
