If they broke through the lines in Kherson, that could be pretty big. Russians are trapped and can't retreat across the river easily which could mean a lot of troops surrendering soon. tgo

They can’t afford for us to cut off support so we can be pretty confident they won’t use them to attack targets inside of Russia we don’t approve of. reo
As this continues to get worse, you've gotta wonder if Putin will escalate again. I'm starting to think it might be likely. Pretty sure this vid was made before the news recently posted too. Edited October 3, 2022 by reo

reo
If it's on Russian territory but just on the border then it's just an escalation of the bluff and we don't do anything. If they "test" it on the territory that Russia just claimed to annex (actually Ukrainian territory) then we've got problems. I could see them doing that at this point to be honest. Any area where fallout gets into Ukraine or a neighboring country is a problem.
nine
We can safely assume Putin would have absolutely no qualms about his own troops being casualties while making a show of flexing his nuclear muscles. No doubt they’re all just a bunch of suckers and losers in his book.

If it's on "Russian" territory by way of the latest annexation of Ukrainian territory then NATO steps in. It's like if we tested a nuke on Texas and the winds blew the fallout into Mexico, they'd be pissed but it wouldn't cause the international incident it would if we nuked Mexico. tgo
