It was quite good. And yeah, he really complimented Byard. He also said the defense isn't trying to TOs. When you try to get them, they don't come. Chris Jackson has been playing surprisingly well this season. Molden has a unique skillset from anyone else we have. We don't have depth but the top 4 are definitely good enough. Baldinger calls him the best FS in the league. Every player misses plays. The best CBs get DPI calls. Byard is balling, and looking for lowlites to counter that makes no difference. Playing centerfield when the ball is in the air for 4 seconds isn't that hard, but he struggles in short yardage coverage. Actually being that true center-fielder ball-hawk is the most valuable skill set when it comes to safeties precisely because it is so rare/hard to do. Man coverage isn't his strength but honestly it's something you live with if the guy is turning the ball over consistently and at least covering well downfield. We have to be able to criticize players when they're not playing well but then turn around and give them credit when they're balling.
