Bad source. Updated. No casualties so far.

With dust still settling from a U.S. and Israeli air, land and sea bombardment on targets across the Islamic Republic — part an operation dubbed Epic Fury — Iran responded by firing hundreds of missiles and drones at U.S. bases that were “successfully defended against,” a CENTCOM release stated.

“There have been no reports of U.S. casualties or combat-related injuries,” the release stated. “Damage to U.S. installations was minimal and has not impacted operations.”

Who came around?  We have yet to see the ultimate outcome of this conflict.

I still reserve my judgement for future dan to decide.

For now, I'll enjoy watching the Iranian diaspora have their moment. 🥰

Is it a war yet?

US President Donald Trump later confirmed that the White House had supported West Jerusalem in conducting the strikes, citing the failure of nuclear diplomacy as a direct trigger for the move.

"As a result of missile strikes on American bases, at least 200 US military personnel were killed and injured," the Tasnim news agency reported Saturday, citing a statement by the IRGC.

Tasnim news agency.  Good stuff friends.

Isn't morality doing what's right or good?

Refusing to make judgement on an event who's consequence has yet to be decided has nothing to do with morality.  You can judge Trump's morality based on either the long term outcome of this event or his current intentions.  But my hope for this conflict to result in freedom for Iranians and that America doesn't commit to boots on the ground actually shows that I have good to decent morality on this specific subject.

And just to be clear, I still would have preferred not to have been involved in another global conflict.

I don't recall what book series it was (maybe Wheel of Time?) but there was a group of people who wouldn't say no. They would say that they'd "consider it forever" or something like that.

Dannybot likes considering forever when the obvious answer is one he doesn't care to admit.
