The guy who won the Republican nomination for governor in Wisconsin yesterday doesn't even live in Wisconsin. He's also got a significant chance to win and become governor of a state he doesn't even l

Republican politicians and associated committees are sending out desperate fundraising emails begging the GOP faithful to help save America by getting behind Herschel Walker in his Dec. 6 runoff race

lol, at the bogeyman equivalency. The bogeyman doesn’t exist, or is an outsized fear. Your boy Trump staged and executed a coup against the lawfully elected president. People have died believing his lies, and it’s likely more will. He’s still fomenting hateful divisiveness because he cares only about himself, his name. bogeyman, ffs.

The biggest problem is inflation and it's a world wide problem not just an American problem.  If you were honest, you'd admit that.

And the spending hasn’t helped. The party in power is going to take the hit.

The party in power always takes the hit... Even if they aren't the ones that caused it.

Meanwhile the republicans are actively creating logistic stalls in order to drive up inflation more and you want them in charge.

In all fairness, the only thing close to Covid recovery was the 2008 great recession.  Lessons learned from that stimulus was that the government didn't spend enough, soon enough, iirc.  Pardon the whatabout, but even Trump wanted the individual COVID spending increased.

Trump said he wants Congress to increase the amount in the stimulus checks to $2,000 for individuals or $4,000 for couples, instead of the “ridiculously low” $600 for individuals that is in the bill.

No one truly knew: Covid was a 100 year event (hopefully) so Monday morning QBing this , on the heels of 'not doing enough' seems like a reach. That said, yes the dems are in charge, pushed for extra spending mostly with good intentions, and will certainly incur the heat of overshooting, if the analyses continues to bear that out.

How do you know it was good intentions? You don’t think the people in charge made sure that some of the monies went to their cronies or themselves or to companies that they owned ipo on?  Or to buy votes (student loan forgiveness)?

The spending was ridiculous and even Obama advisers warned against it. But lefties cannot help themselves.

Many of you still claim anything good comes from Joe and anything bad is not his fault. Maybe you can convince people of that in November and maybe not.

Republicans are in a great position:   they can appease their base by grandstanding and posturing on big government, federal spending, inflation, etc....meanwhile their states happily accept billions in federal handouts.

And of course, the politicians congratulate themselves and make sure everyone hears about the incredible progress they're making thanks to the very initiatives they fought so hard to stop.

The government should openly call /designate the states that take the most money.

They shold be called socialist welfare states and in all Federal and international business it should be required to say "The socialist Wellfare state of Alabama" as a full title. You could do SWS Alabama for abbreviation.

Never forget Trump essentially forcing the dem states beg him for help during crises, natural disasters, even Covid.  Then expect a personal and very public gratitude, for doing the bare minimum.
