Trump read an article, COMPLETELY misunderstood it, then said he personally witnessed the event and lied about the size of the fictional event. The article mentioned police were investigating a report of a couple of families of Muslims having rooftop cookouts in New Jersey possibly celebrating the attacks. Fox and Trump got a hold of this and spread hate. The reports - of course - were proven to be false reports. The writer of the article later recanted the story and wrote what actually happened.... It was just some racist that called the cops that hated Muslim people having a cookout at a time they thought Muslims should be subservient and in hiding. Who was the reporter that adjusted the story?!?!? The Handicapped reporter that Trump made fun of with a 3rd graded retard mocking voice. Who cares? But it's interesting.....I don't recall these folks being upset when Trump knowingly lied to America and made a very deliberate choice to withhold information and downplay the dangers of a deadly new virus that went on to kill 1.3 million Americans. People who refuse to demand accountability from both sides need to just shut the fuck up and stop pretending to give a flying fuck about the truth. Because they clearly don't.
