Biden White House: Year 4

I'll be honest, I think this is just excuse making.

Those things can be unpopular (I think that they are), but it's incumbent on other Democrats to do the damage control. I feel like I hardly see them push back. If it's so unpopular (and it is), then stop hiding and do the damage control they feel is necessary. If they're too afraid to do it then it seems like that's on them.

I think this is the same issue with BBB. Manchin really did tell Schumer, and presumably Biden, that he had limits and they just forged ahead trying to push the big BBB because they were afraid of telling people they had to cut their priorities to get something passed. They were too afraid to tell progressives, the specific interest groups for their pet issues that they can't get it done.

It goes back to the issues I voiced in the past. People told progressives to not voice their (unpopular) opinions until after the election. The problem is that there is never a good time for progressives to push for their unpopular ideas. You're basically asking them to not be progressives though, so IDK what they're supposed to do. My advice is "elect more moderates". ?

No I don't think that has anything to do with super rich. It is the top 1.8% of income earners though.    Also if you think the proposals to raise the taxes on people making that much are ex

Battery replacements are cheaper than years worth of gasoline. And recharging can easily be done on off hours.

Ummm.  The cost of ownership per mile driven is much higher than gasoline vehicle. Also the need and cost of building charging stations at USPS cites is economically illiterate.

No it isn’t. Especially when you cut most of the fleet's maintenance costs. And most especially since electric is far more efficient than gas powered engines at low speed, stop and go operations like mail delivery.

You realize USPS buildings already get electricity, right? The cost to install some charge cables to where they park delivery vehicles overnight isn’t prohibitive.

We don’t know the differences in trucks like these, but consumer EVs save about 4 cents a mile over similar gas powered vehicles over the life of the vehicle.

We should see similar if not better costs per mile for delivery vehicles.  While this may not be extreme savings over the life of the vehicle compared to the initial investment, it’s a large figure across a fleet of 160k vehicles.

Who knows if that would cover the costs of charging stations?   It’s a cost they will have to incur at some point, unless the objective is to run the USPS into the ground and end it.  That’s most likely the case.

All the big delivery services have plans to start converting to electric.  Some already have prototypes on the road.  All have plans to be carbon neutral within 20 years.

I guess they’re economically illiterate.

Truly amazing how most of you defend 2 years of disasters, stupid policies, and difficult times under this idiot mannequin. Spin it all you want- the douchebag that  you voted for is the worst in history.  I only hope the world will still be in existence in 24.

Translation: Stop it with your logical counter points. I don't want to hear it. Here are some useless and vague insults.
